We had several appetizers, salad, and soup instead of main dishes. Everything was great, but I think things were a little overpriced, even for the Homestead. The service was very good as well.

Ended up eating here several times during our 5 day stay. Food was good. The staff was attentive and prompt. Can't say we had the best meal ever...but it was easy to get in, nice bar area, great place to unwind.

A great place for lunch/dinner just for the view! The prices are high and the portions are small. We ordered $15 burgers which took 20 min as they are cooked to order. You have limited choices at The Homestead, but I would eat here again, off the appetizer menu. :)

Nice menu, prepared well. Dress code is relaxed so you can be comfortable in a sport jacket or just a button down shirt. Would like to see some indifference to tee shirts, even when with children.

We visited The Homestead yesterday as we drove through the hills of VA from Charlottesville. Our lunch was perfect, by the window with the Fall leaves still full of color. The she crab soup was exquisite. What a lovely way to spend a two hour lunch. Everyone was very solicitious, the valet, our waiter Onyx. Even did some shopping, while... More

Recently visited the Homestead and had a fabulous lunch and dinner. Good food and good service. Perfect establishment for all purposes; nice lounge and trendy dining room. Seafood was excellent; wine list good.

Innovative twist on a classic dining venue, the Homestead transformed its former elegant, exclusive and pricey fine dining space into a trendy, but still elegant sports bar. Great service with a very varied menu made it a good choice for a large group reservation, they were able to handle everyone's requests.

My wife and I wanted a light lunch and wandered into the Jefferson Restaurant and saw seats that looked out over the pools and golf course. It was slightly sprinkling so being inside was necessary. The area we sat had 7 flat screen TVs on sports stations but only one had sound and it was not loud. There is one... More

Unfortunately this dining and cocktail experience is a real mixed bag. This is a very attractive sports bar lounge area and nearby beautifully set up restaurant with a open kitchen to the dining area. Our first experience were cocktails at 5pm. No menu of selections of bourbon nor single malt scotches and waitress had no idea what they had. BTW,... More
