I get to this area several times a year. I always make a point to stop by. Food, value, and down home feel is a wonderful treat. My visit to Hot Springs isn't complete w/o a stop at this wonderful 'old school' diner. The owners are so sociable. And the food is a good comfort after a day of soaking... More

I am staying at The Homestead this weekend and have dined here, had room service, and dined at Sam Sneads tavern and I have to say this place was the best so far. The food was excellent and the prices were even better. It was refreshing not being price gouged for once during this trip. You have to try the... More

We stayed at the Inn at Gristmill and had a great dinner. We are not world travelers but have eaten in places from Maine to California. With that being said we wanted to try something that the locals loved and after reading reviews on tripadvisor we decided we would give Lindsay Roost a try. This is a nice little bar... More

Best country rainbow trout, fried chicken! Steak wasn't that great. Lindsay, the owner was friendly and came to socialize with us. Top notch southern hospitality. Dining room is extremely small and cold air came in each time door is open-that's the only thing I don't like. Overall, thoroughly enjoyed the food and service! Will definitely return when we visit the... More

We ate at Lindsay's while staying at The Homestead. Although we enjoyed the setting and service at the hotels main dining room, for $150 our food was a major disappointment. We opted the next night to take a chance on Lindsay's after reading the reviews on tripadvisor. We were not disappointed. Even walking up to the door I had second... More

The food here is fine and inexpensive. We ate lunch and I ordered a chicken breast with lettuce, tomato, cheese and bacon. And that's exactly what I got. If you want french fries, etc., they are not included (which is fine), otherwise it's a no-frills kind of place with plain food. The one bonus was the sweet potato fries which... More

Visiting The Homestead with family for spring break. Not easy to find a fast but good eats place where our kids outnumber the adults two to one. We sat in the Elvis room and enjoyed looking at the memorabilia. Also several arcade games and a pool table that the kids enjoyed. Food was simple, home cooking - burgers and dogs... More

What a fun find in this area. Low key and down to earth. We really enjoyed the food and the friendly authentic service. Menu is basic with a daily special. Nothing fancy - just good comfort food. Definitely will go back when we visit the Homestead again.

On a recent trip to the Homestead Resort my wife and children (ages 5 & 15) were delighted to discover Lindsay's. We had asked the concierge to book us at Sam Snead's Tavern but they were full. I had a local recommend a place and he told us to try Lyndsay's. So glad we did. A short walk from the... More
