This family run restaurant is nicely located near our home. The portions are large and the dinner price includes the entree and salad or soup. My husband particularly enjoys the salmon fortino and I like the dish that is chicken with apples. The price tag won't break your bank and the atmosphere is cozy.

I highly recommend Cantina D'Italia in Herndon. The food is excellent. The service was probably the best service we have had in a very long time. Ambiance was relaxing and comfortable and the pricing is excellent. I had a crap and pasta dish and they gladly accommodated me with adding shrimp. We plan on returning again and again.

Small restaurant tucked away in the corner of strip mall you can easily miss it. Surprise when you get inside beautiful decor. Friendly staff. But most of all real home made italian food. Love tier spaghetti and clams in white sauce. Puttanesca like my mother use to make. Lamb an veal dishes really good too. Good service great food reasonable... More

I have an entertainment book and found this restaurant many years ago. I return every now and then for the great food.

Parents in town for a visit last weekend and I planned dinner for them and a few friends on Saturday night. A few friends turned into a party of 12. The restaurant accommodated us nicely and everyone was very happy with dinner. Food quality was very good, prices are very reasonable and the service was excellent. We had 2 newbies... More

I've been to this wonderful family restaurant for years. I took my parents there last week and they loved it. The service is always good and the food never disappoints. Their prices are good and portions big. I especially appreciate to see the same management over the years greet us with open arms. I'll be back!

My wife and I have been going to this restaurant for years. Managed very well, the food is consistently "very good." Reasonable value for the cost and the restaurant will absolutely cater to those with unique 'food preparation' requirements. Highly recommended...

Don't be fooled by the outward appearance....it's a non-descript place in a strip mall that looks tiny. A friend at work suggested this place and we were not disappointed! We're from NY and the food here in NOVA is usually mediocre at best! This place rocks, the service was great and the owner offered to make whatever we wanted (even... More

Can't argue with the lamb shank--one of the best I've had. Don't know why others rave about the bread--seemed average to me. Downside is that the place feels like a recycled upscale NJ diner, complete with booths and vinyl seats that are really uncomfortable. Not good for us middle-aged types with sore backs. The waiter moved me to a table... More

This is a great little Italian restaurant. We frequent it often. We have used them for large parties with friends as well. Service is always friendly and attentive food is home style Italian food carbonara, spaghetti and clams, and puttanesca are my favorites. Believe me good food I know my name is Tony
