Great place for a few drinks / beers and basic, but good, bar food. I enjoyed my burger and was told the roast beef sandwich was excellent. The service was a bit slow, but the staff was friendly and entertaining.

Jimmy's is a great place for a few drinks and a nice meal. Casual atmosphere, the menu is good and they have awesome prime rib.
A great place for friends and teams to gather and socialize while enjoying a good meal. The BBQ combo and Buffalo Platter both offer alot of ok food. The margerita's are very good. Wish I had tried their famous root beer float. Jimmy is a friendly guy who mixes with all his patrons in warm cheery way. We'll definitely go...

Although we live in Herndon, we had never been to Jimmy's since it opened here 16 years ago. I heard people talking about it, but since I'm not a bar lover, and it looked from the street like it was just a crowded bar, I never wanted to go there. My husband, a bit more adventuresome than me, convinced me...

Definitely not a boring bar! The food is great...the enviornment is fun and TJ is a hoot! We spent a week in Herndon and found ourselves drawn to eating dinner here a couple of times. Good times!
My husband invited me to his company 'happy hour' at this place and it was the first time I'd ever been (him too). Now, I am lamenting that I have been missing out all these years!
The waitress Janine (not sure how you actually spell it) was very personable, was always on top of our food and our beer and...

You can visit Jimmy's for lunch, dinner, happy hour or late night and have a great time every time. The staff lives by the mantra, "where everyone is treated like a regular." The beer is cold, and food is remarkably good for a dive bar. It's even family friendly throughout the day and they host regular events just for kids....

This is a laid back bar with big pub food and great staff. We thought the food was OK but great value. Oddly it is a buffalo sabres supports bar which I found odd given it just outside of Washington. Would go back for the ribs.
After a morning chasing around bathroom cabinets and lawn furniture, i was hungry. Both the Chief of Staff and I had heard about Jimmy's so we decided to track it down and give it a try. It was about 1:30pm, so we missed whatever lunch rush there was.
The bar/restaurant was clean and well maintained. The decor was "Sports Bar-Modern"...

This place has bar food. Period. First of all it took forever for the waitress to even take our order and the the food took an eternity. The burger I had smelled like the meat was rancid. And my coworkers didn't enjoy their wings. It was a huge disappointment given the high reviews. Maybe we went on an off day...
