Good lunch menu. If you don't want something that might spoil your appetite for dinner, stop by. Scott Buchanan, the Mgr. was visible, making sure things on the floor were ok.A lunch style menu, nice quiet atmosphere. A lot to choose from.

A group of 8 of us stopped in for a quick lunch. The menu selection was good. They offer sandwiches, soups, salads, and potatoes. My husband stated this menu was larger than the McAlister's he had eaten at in NC. I chose a baked potato. The half size was one whole potato and the full size was two. My husband... More

The selections on the menu, is not what I would expect from a deli. My wife and I have visited three times, the bill has been around $28 and I we are never that impressed. You can do better by finding a local restaurant in downtown Harrisonburg or Staunton.

We do not have this restaurant and tried it once before in a different location. Food was very good, great variety of sandwiches, soups and salads and potatos. I had a turkey Reuben and baked potato soup both were great and husband had a pot roast potato and chicken soup and his was also great. We took carrot cake and... More

This is our favorite place to eat when we come to Harrisonburg to visit our daughter at JMU. Sandwiches and salads are great. Service is fast and friendly.

McAlister's had been recommended to us, but we likely wouldn't return there to eat. The food and the selection was good, but compared to many other places, was definitely pricey. I think I really expected a bit more for what they were charging. My Smoky Pepper Jack Turkey sandwich was good, as was the rest of my family's food, but... More

It's a bit pricey for a lunch combo since you just get a small half sandwich and soup or a small salad. But the variety and selection here is fantastic and the soups are always so good!! The service is always pretty good, they're very nice there. The soup makes it worth going.
