We were moving our daughter into JMU and heard this was the place to try. All the tables were taken, but fortunately there were three seats at the bar ready for us. While it's a bit on the "dive" side (ok with us) it certainly goes with the College town atmosphere and has the best burger I've had in years.... More

Visited during a busy lunch time. Told a 30 min wait. Was in reality only 5. Slightly disorganized service... but trying hard and improved throughout the visit. However the food was simply terrific. Great tasting, juicy burgers. We had our dog with us. We sat in the outdoor seating. Made feel very welcome and he was given some milky bone... More

Burger lives up to the hype - delicious and creative. We tried the Showalter and Chiflin burgers. Would be a 5 for burgers and beer selection, but the service, while friendly, was scattered - our server forgot part of our order, and even after being notified, never remembered until after the she brought the check. And the tables are near... More

I guess the locals and college kids like this place. With the great reviews, I expected an amazing burger. Not so. The bun is nothing better than store bought, cheap quality ones. No lettuce or tomatoes. In fairness, they want you to eat it with bacon. I'm just not a bacon fan. The sweet potato fries are good and come... More

If you like burgers, beer or both, this is your spot. We were traveling through hungry for dinner, and found this spot. Had some great burgers and beer, over 100 beers to choose from. Not fancy, you'll eat at the bar, friendly and helpful wait staff.

Cramped little bar, but limit supply and drive up demand. Sometimes hard to get a seat. I love the Elvis burger, and you have to get a fried oreo. Large selection of beer. Ladies, if you feel adventurous, try adding to the ceiling bra collection!

About as good a beer selection as you will find anywhere (the Vienna beer is superb) and the burgers are great. They keep it simple and do it very well. Harrisonburg has a few good places to eat (including the Mexican place next door), but this is a must.

It sounds cliche, but this really is the best burger I've ever eaten. Cool joint (very small), has very high quality food at a reasonable price, and a great beer selection including local brews. This is a must-try establishment.

This place is small with bar seating and outdoor patio seating. We only saw one hightop table which seats 4 but a girl with a laptop was using it. We sat at the bar which was really fine anyway. I got the Elvis burger and my husband got the Cowboy with fries. Both burgers were amazingly good - a slightly... More

that was my first burger experience with kobe beef meat, it was a really tasty surprise. I enjoyed the original specialty burger with artichoke and spinach, and I loved the atmosphere with great rock from the 70 s and the buffalo skull covered with bra. Very friendly atmosphere and super nice staff.
