The atmosphere, being an old seed plant, is very nice, but typical of this type of restaurant the noise level is rather high. All of the food was very good, but especially the cream crab dip and fried tortilla wedges. I would have given this dinner an excellent except for one cardinal sin of dining service. The entrees were served... More

Be sure and ask for Eric as your waiter; soups are fabulous and so are the entrees! You'll love your time here - like going back to a simpler time! Enjoy!

The first time I came to the Union station was for a business meal. Since then I have returned countless times and have brought my family and friends. I am a vegetarian and their selection of veggie friendly food is not only large but absolutely delicious. My family who eats meat also loves their meaty meals as well. And their... More

We stopped in for a late lunch on a Monday and it was not busy. Food was excellent. I had the soup/salad combo: chili and candied walnut salad. Both were good but the salad was great! The vinaigrette dressing was a perfect marriage to the spicy-sweet walnuts (bacon, apple and blue cheese on a bed of mixed greens). My husband... More

This is our third visit to Union Station. The food is just OK. The drinks were delicious although not very strong. The atmosphere is pretty good though. The service was attentive and friendly.

we were recommended here by locals, we were not disappointed, the decor reflected the buildings heritage as an original train station, make sure you get to read the history brochure (a great idea would be to have these on the tables either as disposable place mats or at least there for visitors to read). The service, was great, the food... More

The restaurant is located in an old seed seller warehouse. One of the tables sits in a elevator. I had brisket barbecue, they have a smoker. The menu had a nice selection. The food was tasty. Nice atmosphere. Service was a little slow but not bad. They also have some craft beers. My other two friends were happy with their... More

My husband and I stayed the night in Harrisonburg on the way home from a vacation in South Carolina and ate dinner at Union Station. The menu had tons of options. The portions were generous and the food was delicious! Great prices, too. Perfect spot for couples and families. We are glad we stumbled upon Union Station.

Found this place on google. In the Burg for farmers markets. Excellent in every way. Outstanding sweet tea, hamburger cooked exactly as ordered, outstanding service, slightly high prices. Wish I had room for dessert.
