My husband and I stayed the night in Harrisonburg on the way home from a vacation in South Carolina and ate dinner at Union Station. The menu had tons of options. The portions were generous and the food was delicious! Great prices, too. Perfect spot for couples and families. We are glad we stumbled upon Union Station.

Found this place on google. In the Burg for farmers markets. Excellent in every way. Outstanding sweet tea, hamburger cooked exactly as ordered, outstanding service, slightly high prices. Wish I had room for dessert.

Downtown, second floor restaurant. Is in an old tannery building. Alfredo with smoked meats is outstanding. Steak and ale burger has to be tried. Didn't have anything that wasn't good. Service was good.

Very cool atmosphere very weak food. Have been there multiple times, tried multiple foods but nothing has been good. Last time I had the Cannonball burge, it had no flavor at all. Burgers are always WAY to overcooked.Meats are not good quality. Fries are so-so.

Neat atmosphere. Stopped at the bar first to have a drink. Dining room looked hectic so we passed and went to another restaurant. We had a fly buzzing around us, and constantly landing in the garnish tray for the drinks, in front of the bartenders while they were working. Realize that this can happen anywhere, but somewhat turned us off,... More

We visited during Happy Hour when they have many items on their menu at half price. This includes their Barbeque Sandwich. My sandwich was probably one one of the best Barbeque's that I have ever had. I ordered extra sauce as I like my sandwich saucy. We sat at the bar, where the service was very good. Our bartender and... More

This is a good restaurant to bring your parents. If you're part of the college crowd of Harrisonburg, you probably recognize Union Station as the most "corporate", and therefore least cool place to frequent. However, despite the slander, Union Station offers really great food at reasonable prices!! I recommend hanging around the upstairs bar.

Good selection of food, but an even more impressive selection of wine and spirits. I ordered the portabella stuffed with crab, which was good, but a tad runny. My wife ordered the grilled swordfish which was superb. Though the portions are not huge, remembering this is dining, not eating. The decor was pretty unique, utilizing the old train station structure... More

We enjoyed it! Nice quiet dinner and the menu had a lot to choice from, including vegetarian options. It wasn't anything over the top but very good!

We just spent the past week in Va Beach and the stop in Harrisonburg was a lay over night in route to our second week of vacation at Massenutten. I like to try new places when on vacations, or places new to me. I read some of the reviews which were not great, and boy were those wrong. Our waitress... More
