I was invited to dinner at this reconverted site in Harrisonburg. The outside does not prepare one for the fabulous interiors, up a grand staircase. Courteous service and lip-smacking food. I found the mushroom soup and roasted cauliflower most appetising

Went here for a Thursday evening, hit the bar side which had a bit more room than I was expecting (a positive thing). Sat ourselves and waited a few minutes for service. Menu was reasonably priced (especially including happy hour discounts), beer list acceptable, wife wasn't too amazed by her wine though. Ordered wings and salad as split appetizer, both... More

Reservation via Open Table was perfect. Jill M. was our waitress and she was perfect. Wife's steak salad and my 6oz. sirloin were perfect. Chocolate pecan pie w/ice cream was perfect. Jill's suggestion of a Rockbridge wine was perfect. Enough said.

For Harrisonburg, VA, this is a high end place. All local, nice wine selections, fresh ingredients. Our server, Rob, was outstanding. We started with their "fresh" made bread, which unfortunately was stale. On to the chopped salad, with a very watery ranch dressing of some sort. The highlight of the meal were the sautéed fresh brussel sprouts, the most tender... More

We had been on the road all day and detoured here based on Trip Advisor reviews. great decision. the service is excellent, affable and knowledgeable (Ben)...the steaks were perfect. Chicken liver appetizer was amazing...and creme brûlée. A glass of Wine and a perfect meal. Prompt, great atmosphere and reasonable price. All in all a great experience, worthy of a detour.

Who new in the sleepy little town of Harrisonburg Virginia there lies such an amazing restaurant. We had drinks at the bar as we were early for our reservation. The drinks were well made and the bartenders were charming. We were seated very promptly and had an engaging server. We all had the filet mignon which was easily one of... More

Took a special couple to dine out (party of 3). From previous reviews I knew to ask for a downstairs table, it was ready and awaited us.
