It was an awesome surprise to find a restaurant like this in this little town. My husband and I traveled here to meet several family members for the July 4 weekend. We arrived July 4 and wanted to take his parents out for a NICE dinner and not fast food. Now that could be difficult on a holiday night for... More

I have relatives in Harrisonburg, and visiting there, we were taken to this newish, trendy place downtown. It's in a big old 3 or 4 story brick warehouse (was once a Seed Co.) that's mostly now chic condos. So don't expect lavish landscaping...after all warehouses don't have that. But they do have soaring spaces, beautiful old brick walls, and when... More

One of the best restaurant experiences anywhere, we had a great dinner. The food was great and fairly priced for this quality. The waiter (Billy) did a great job and was helpful with the selections. We were here 2 years ago and very impressed. The experience was repeated and we will return when we visit the area next year!

We found this place off this site and was the #1 restaurant in the area. Checked out the menu online and went for burgers. After initial confusion on seating (formal dining room vs bar for burgers), we moved to the bar. For newbies to this place, we weren't aware there were two venues for food. This should be clearer. Anyway,... More

First visit: nice warehouse look with lots of red brick walls. Tried the charcuterie platter: house smoked and cured meats were outstanding. Filets were the best we have had in years and with choice of rubs and sauces - unique and delicious. The smashed potato and polenta with tomatoes are two great sides. Vegetables were a bit shiny and over... More

Stayed at Massanutten for a mini vacation. We made reservations here to celebrate my birthday. This place is incredibly amazing. Nice atmosphere, the service is top notch and the food...oh my the food!!! I took my first bite of a side...(the smashed potatoes) and said "oh my god" out loud with my mouth full. Wow my palette was so very... More

My husband and I had dinner at the Chop & Grill House on Thursday, July 3 while we were in Harrisonburg for a golfing weekend. We ordered the perfectly cooked-to-order Petite Filets with a fresh garden and Caesar salads, grilled asparagus and a mushroom casserole. All were wonderful. Chris, our waiter, pampered us with his outstanding service.... so friendly... making... More

My wife and I have family in Harrisonburg and have been looking for a quality restaurant for many years. We have finally found it when we had dinner at the Chop House! The food was exquisite and the service was first class. We look forward to frequenting this restaurant in the future.

Stopped by after a day of motorcycling. Not in the attire most in the restaurant were dressed in but that did not matter. We were treated wonderfully and our waiter was very knowledgeable about most everything on the menu and our drinks and bread basket were kept full at all times. Wish I would have his name to give him... More
