Was supposed to meet a friend at a place, but discovered it was no longer there. Lucky for us the Taphouse was right next door. Huge selection of draft and bottle beer, and a great menu with the food to back it up! An exceptionally pleasant surprise!

The bartenders here are always very nice and attentative. The beer selection is one of the best in town. The prices are a little pricey, but you are getting craft beer so that is par for the course. If you are a bud light drinker, this place isnt for you. If you do however like to experience new beers and... More

Very large selection of craft beers although heavily slanted toward ale's. Food is very good but their mussels are not to be missed! I always ask for extra toast points to sop up the broth!!

This place has a great beer selection and the food is a step up from the usual bar grub. The shrimp po-boy was excellent and my companions enjoyed the pasta dishes as well.

The Taphouse serves a Sunday Brunch that we don't miss when we are on the "Right" coast. Get there at least 15-20 minutes prior to opening to assure a table since this is a popular place for locals. Good breakfast menu and a great deal on "Bloody Mary's" to get you going. I have had their signature skillet with seven... More

This is our second time at the taphouse. The food has been great both times, and the beer selection is very good. We stopped in on Virginia Beer night and got to try all kinds of beers brewed in Virginia for half off! Atmosphere is good, was very crowded for a Tuesday night, but was not "too loud" that you... With a name like Taphouse, I was really looking forward to having some unique beers but I was disappointed by the somewhat pedestrian beer selection. I tend to lean toward barrel aged/imperial beers (stouts, IPAs, etc.) and I feel like I lost here. Don't get me wrong, the selection is not bad, it's just not what I am used to... More

The finest of ales on tap! Great selection and variety - local and from around the globe. The burgers and Sandwiches were most goodly - decent fries. Staff was friendly and responsive, prices were reasonable. Could use another latrine.

Stopped by with my SIL for some drinks. Stayed here all night! Bartenders are friendly and very helpful. Tried so many beers and finally settled on the one I liked for the rest of the night. More family and friends joined us and we all had a fun night. I ate the Cuban Sandwich and it was really good. Fries... More
