I don't like seafood so I really can't talk about most of the menu. I can tell you that my in-laws, who LOVE seafood and are very selective about where they go, REALLY like Surfrider! The wraps and burgers are good too! Service can be so-so to very good, depends on who you get. Go on a nice day, sit... More

The crab cakes are to die for. I even added a soft shell crab on top of my crab cake sandwich and was in heaven. The ole bay chips suck though.

Best Crab Cakes in Hampton Roads. Other sea food is very good. Very noisy because it is a small place to get. Usually a wait, but worth it. Not cheap, but not very expensive.

We had a late lunch here looking for a good crab cake. Service was quite patchy - it took a long time to get our order taken and then for some reason the fries could not be served with our meals and came quite a few minutes later. Food was tasty - we had crab cake and also the broiled... More

Wonderful atmosphere and great food. I have lived in area 20 plus years and never been. It was absolutely wonderful. The wait staff were eager to please and I was very surprised at the great quality of the food considering the prices were so very reasonable! GO!!

Our GPS allowed us to find this restaurant located on a marina in Hampton. All four of us had excellent meals. The fish was fresh including tuna (that had reportedly been caught within the last 24 hours), crab, oysters, shrimp and flounder. The portions were generous and each type of fish was well-seasoned. Our waitress, Candy, was both knowledgeable and... More

A generous portion of delicious fried oysters was delivered very quickly to the table. Bleu cheese dressing on a large house salad (one of my sides) was delicious. Mashed potatoes and gravy were good too. Price was very reasonable for about 20 oysters ($19). I would definitely come here again. Next time it will be the fried seafood platter.

We started with some crab dip, which was creamy and good, but not a standout as far as crab dips go. I also had the she crab soup. I prefer my she crab soups to have sherry, if this one did, you couldn't taste it. I asked for some old bay and added that, which helped make it more flavorful.... More

Right on the marina, you get a beautiful view of the water and the yachts. The food is spectacular, although you may want to arrive early there isn't a lot of seating so there tends to be a wait. They have delectable crab (especially the lump crab) and the tuna appetizer is superb.

Be sure to get a table by the windows - everything is improved by a view of the boats. The food is fresh and simply prepared. There are more fried choices than broiled, and some broiled combos are marred by the inclusion of a fried item, and there are no substitutions allowed. The broiled scallop, crabmeat, and shrimp combo was... More
