We were flying through Norfolk on our way to the Outer Banks and had time to waste before we could check in to the house. I generally trust other Trip Advisor reviews when it comes to where to eat, where to go, where to stay, etc, and this was no different. I made a list of possibilities of lunch options,... More

We had dinner at the bar, because there was a wait for a table. They have a great bar selection with lots of beers, wine and premium liquor. On Fridays, they have $5 martinis, which are well worth it. We shared the appetizer sampler and the chili cheese fries and were stuffed. Everything was very tasty. We requested one of... More

We really enjoyed the food, the prices were fair, the English Pub decor was interesting. Difficult to carry on a dinner conversation ( very noisy). It was understandable being that it was busy the night we went, I suppose, but it is difficult to enjoy a meal when all around you is boisterous. Could be an acoustic problem. Some of... More

I do love a man in a kilt! Much too loud overall, it's a pub not a stadium. Volume aside, it was a good place to eat. They have some well done traditional dishes, pub grub and some very nice appetisers. The wait staff while a little rushed did manage to answer questions and were all quite nice. (They appeared... Four of us enjoyed lunch here on Sunday. We were immediately greeted and seated at a very comfortable table. We were happy to see that the tables were spaced a nice distance apart. Service was very attentive and fast. The brunch menu looked good and was reasonably priced. It is served until 2:00 on Sunday. The brunch dishes coming out... More

I was staying at a very disappointing hotel nearby and my general impression of the area was not good. And then I found this large modern shopping mall and the Park Lane Tavern. What a pleasant surprise. The ambiance and décor was that of a traditional English pub even though it is a big establishment. The menu provided much to... More

12 of us met a local friend at this great tavern in Hampton. Our party started as 6 and grew to 12 and the wait staff accommodated us without fuss or attitude. The orders were taken quickly and without error. The food selection was limited, but what you got was delicious. I wholeheartedly recommend this place, and as others who... More

Amazing selection of beer and drinks at a fair price. We had the "Cobb Salad" and "Sheppard's Pie" along with the Calamari for an appetizer. The Calamari and Cobb Salad were very good, but I was very disappointed in the Sheppard's Pie. It was covered with about 3 pounds of white cheese and maybe 2 TBSP of mashed potatoes. It... More
