A couple of months ago, I read that Bensi's had closed. No reason was given in the newspaper. Very disappointing as I very much like Bensi's. There is another locally owned Italian restaurant there now but we haven't tried it yet.

After the last customer was served on New Year's Eve the Bensi restaurant in Hampton Town Center closed it's doors for good. Many of the servers were only told that night. Others knew what was coming. I'm sure that's why things have been off kilter there. This was one of our favorite Italian restaurants in Hampton and we'll miss it.... More

On December 16, 2013, My friend and our daughters went to Bensi for lunch prior to shopping. We have dined several times and had a great experience. Today something was off and was not impressed with they way it was handled. We waited at the hostess stand and no hostess insight to greet. We waited for a period of time.... More

Yesterday, my daughter and I sought the refuge of a sit-down lunch at Bensi, after the madness of Black Friday shopping at Hampton's Peninsula Town Center. What we got what so much more than we'd imagined! Bensi offers a $10.00 lunch menu M-F, and since we both ordered from that menu, we got the choice of a free appetizer or... More

Each time we have been to Bensi, whether it be for dinner or the Sunday brunch, the food has been GREAT!. We especially enjoy the Sunday brunch with the mimosa/bloody mary specials. The chef - Jason has always come by our table to say hello and to check on our meal. We recently hosted a Birthday brunch for 15 of... More

Service was lacking. Had to look for waiter to get drink refills. The fruit choices were meager and only consisted of cantaloupe and watermelon. The omelette offerings were scarce although the omelettes were piping hot and tasted good. I would rather pay a few more bucks and have a larger selection of items.

This is the first terrible experience dining I have had. I posted it on their facebook page, but of course, they deleted it. The ONLY good thing about it was the pretty ceiling and prompt attention to refills. My daughter and I decided to meet our husbands for lunch. This is in walking distance for my husband and two blocks... More

We attended my in-laws' anniversary party at this restaurant, and I was very impressed with the atmosphere, service, and the food. We were a very large group, and they set up a private room for us with three long tables for about 60 people. Everybody got to choose from the full menu, and they even brought a special menu for... I love going to Bensi in Peninsula Town Center. But my visits are getting farther and farther between times. The reason is the prices are crazy high for the amount of food you get and now they limit your table to 2 servings of bread regardless the party size!!!! If you want to spend over $40.00 for 2 people then... More
