This is a truly lovely restaurant, away from the madding crowd in the beautiful countryside of Great Falls. Due to rainy weather, we were not able to dine on the beautiful patio, with red-painted tables and small lights on the trees and the gazebos. But the dining rooms are lovely, too. This is a French country inn with truly delicious... More

LAuberge Chez Francois has always been reserved for the great occasions in our lives, whether for a birth, a significant anniversary or a 99th birthday dinner. The food is always fabulous - be sure to order a chocolate or Grand Marnier dessert soufle when you arrive to savor at the end of your meal. Years ago you had to reserve... More

Lovely French provincial inn in the beautiful countryside of the Northern Virginia suburbs. Always have thoroughly enjoyed dining there. The decor is very cozy and welcoming. Great choices for appetizers, main course, and desserts at a set price. Used to be difficult to get reservations without a month's notice, but the economy may have affected its tremendous popularity.

From beginning to end, nothing could have been more special to celebrate my significant birthday!! Charming, delightful and a wonderful get-away from the city. The service, ambiance, and culinary delights were above exceptional. Their Sunday luncheon was very reasonable and a wonderful experience. The six-course prix fixe menu was simply divine. Yes, a lot more food than we normally consume,... More

L'Auberge Chez Francois is a gourmet treasure tucked into the hills of Great Falls Virginia. It has offered real French cuisine and a masterful wine list for over 30 years. Recently, the owners have set up their lower level dining room as 'Brasserie Jacques' which offers an a la carte 'brasserie' menu of traditional French comfort food - Chacroute, beef... More

My wife and I decided to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary here. Reservations were easy, they called two days in advance to confirm. No mention of a dress code though. Before we left the house I started wondering about how dressy I needed to be so I went onto their web-site and looked around for an indication of what to... More

We celebrated my birthday on a Thursday night. It was an excellent all around dining experience. Service was well paced with just the right amount of attention. Wine selection by the glass was varied enough. Food was excellent - filet for me and ribeye for husband.
