There aren't many choice on this "fried chicken buffet", but you won't care because it's all about the chicken. It's a great historical restaurant right across the street from Monticello. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. Note: the servers pool their tips. My husband left a large tip for our server because she was extremely good. He... More

The entire lodge, including Izac's Tavern, had a major fire last spring. They are rebuilding, but currently closed. Try Fabio's or Innwood.

I used to be the kitchen manager for this restaurant located at Shenandoah Crossings Resort in Gordonsville, VA and when I was there, it was a mess. The kitchen was horrible and very unsanitary and nobody wanted to learn. It was all a bunch of lazy kids making sloppy sandwiches and disgusting dishes out of frozen or freezer burned products,... We enjoyed the food very much for a breakfast before checking out. The service was not the best however, and the coffee was not good at all! All in all not a bad experience.

Good food with great views. Service is slow and unorganized. We were staying at the resort and it was very convenient for meals.

Great food. Both times. Very happening place on Tuesday for the dollar burger nights. Very friendly staff. And one very pretty view.

We eat here every year when we stay at Shenandoah Crossing. This year we were all impressed with the food. The Chicken Carbonara was excellent! $1 burger night was a lot of fun. We always have a large party and they were great about getting us seated in a reasonable amount of time. Waitress, hostess and manager were all very... More

The bar had a good selection of beers, albeit all bottled and not on tap. The restaurant area had a cafeteria like decor. After an hour of waiting and three requests for just a glass of water we finally received our meal. Despite the hamburger request made as " just bun and meat", they brought a cheeseburger and seemed baffled... More
