Certainly not a nice place to bring a date, but the food is really good! The restaurant is shabby, the waitstaff are mediocre but do try but the fresh, never over sauced or greasy and delicious. Take away is our usual.

We had gone to Wild Ginger on a Sunday and the food was fresh and tasty. Went last month and the waitress handed us a menu. The prices were from 12.95 and up for dinners. I asked her about specials listed up from two for twenty dollars. She then said "oh" and gave us a small menu that listed cheaper... More

A wonderful place to eat. The servers are very friendly and attentive. The food taste very good, and with NO MSG. We are always pleased with our experiences and come often.

Really did want to love this place. I'd read some favorable reviews and online Wild Ginger still ranks fairly highly for Gloucester. But whatever it once was, it no longer is. A great place can have a bad night, so I didn't review this place after our first bad experience. Gave it a second chance and there has been no... More

This was once a good, pardon, excellent quality place - great food, with warm and personable caretakers, not owners of this place. This is a family operation, HUGE - we know this family from restaurants in Amhert MA and Hanover NH - when a restaurant needs new infusion to bring it up to par, the family moves on, and assumes the... I came in a couple weeks ago for my birthday and ordered the Singapore Mei fun and spring roll and thanks god! they did not put MSG in the food. So delicious! The waitress was really nice. Good place to go for any event.

I would like to say that first wild ginger is a lovely place and has wonderful service. I however do not like seafood and tonight got the squid tonight, it was fantastic! I could eat it like it was no problem! They worked well with me on exactly what I wanted. I wouldn't have rather gone anywhere else.

This was the worst Chinese meal we have ever had. The service was poor (apparently a new waitress in training), rice was hard as if it had been scraped off the side of the rice cooker, and the meat was spongy and unidentifiable as to the type beef. Ugg.

This restaurant changed hands a few months ago. The food is about the same, but the quantity has diminished somewhat. The service is not quite as good as before and the staff is not very friendly. We generally go for lunch and that is a great value for the money, even with the smaller portion sizes. One evening we placed... More
