December 2013 was the first time I visited the El Ranchito Mexican Restaurant. It was fantastic!!! The portions were definitely filling. The server was ever so nice and very concerned about our well being. Since that time, I have returned three times and have on each occasion taken friends who enjoy their breakfast as much I have enjoyed mine.

Very small restaurant with limited seating inside. During the warm weather months there is plenty of outside seating. The food is average for Mexican.

On the way into Gloucester is a mexican style restaurant with inside or outside tables. Nice days the porch is perfect. This place is by itself in the trees and is private for quiet lunches or is a great place for people to meet for happy hour. We went with another couple and the service was great and the food... We've gone here for years. Couldn't ask for better Mexican cuisine! The La Bamba is a must, if you love burritos!

El Ranchito restaurant represents a hidden treasure trove of authentic Mexican cuisine. Here the talented cooks have complied a terrific list of recognizable favorites as well as their own specialties. Annoyed by the mystery ingredients making headlines at Taco Bell? Not here! I ordered the shredded beef, shredded chicken and ground beef tacos and was impressed by the fact that... More

We eat here every time we're in the area. The place is owned and run by Mexican-Americans and the flavors of the heritage come thru in the food. Service is always prompt & friendly.

I'm from Mexico and I just moved here. Knowing that we're pretty far I wasn't expecting much, but I was still disappointed with the green enchiladas I ordered. The green chiles were just chopped and thrown on top of the enchiladas with some sour cream :( The food is not bad, it's just not really Mexican I will keep looking... More

But this restaurant is at least average if not a little better than your average East Coast Mexican restaurant. If you're from out West don't bother with Mexican while you're here, but if you're from here, you'll probably really like it. Good salsa, and pretty good food. Really nice staff.
