Predictably good. Big bar with at least 70+ beers on tap. Bartenders knowledgeable (ask for weaver). Solid salads, sandwiches and dinners. Mac and cheese killer. I enjoy the artichoke sandwich. Try the giant Bavarian pretzel with cheese dip and mustard. Beet salad and salmon salad on this visit. Would order again. If you see these, try these - Firestone Wookey... More

The food, beverages, and service were great when I enjoyed the Virginia Jaycees LMA Capital Region social lunch at that restaurant.

The bartender accidentally sprayed beer foam all over me. Instead of apologizing, he laughed at me and didn't even comp my drink

Very good food and service. Went with another couple and wanted to sit a the bar but there was no room. They proceeded to open another one which soon filled up. Bartender gave good suggestions for meals which were really pretty good. I would not only recommend this restaurant but plan on returning my next trip to the area.

Right by our hotel. An immense beer selection. Very pleasant outdoor patio dining. Food was just ok. Nothing special. All you can eat mussels on Tues.

Stopped for dinner since it was within walking distance of our hotel. We were seated right away outside. Asked about the specials since they were advertising for an Oktoberfest event. Server wasn't really sure of all the details. We decided to order off the regular menu. Food was very good and didn't take too long to come out. Our server... More

The beer list is overwhelming and reasonably priced. Typical brew pub menu of good quality food attractively served by an efficient and friendly staff.

Very friendly bartender who made some great beer recommendations. Large beer selection to choose from. The burgers and fries were really good... It was kind of dark and gloomy inside. It is worth a try.

We went here to celebrate our son's 34th birthday. I was totally shocked when he was carded on ordering a beer. I guess I am glad they are so careful. We had a long wait for food, although the restaurant was half empty. I ordered a glass of wine and thought I had gotten the sampler glass, as it was... More

I went here a few years ago and it had a great feel. We chose our hotel since the Ale House was within walking distance. We were very disappointed. We walked in around 10:00 and there were only a few people there. It was very dark and just had a weird feel to it. The staff was attentive, but not... More
