Ate here after it was recommended by my hotel. Wish I hadn't. Was completely ignored for literally 15 minutes upon arrival. The server, when she finally came, was pleasant enough. However, her recommendation of the BBQ nachos ended up a poor one. They were large but despite being covered in pulled pork and cheese, were severely lacking in flavor. The... More

I hoped for some good BBQ here as almost all the other restaurants nearby have been quite good during my recent stays. This one didn't live up. The bartender was too busy talking to the two regulars at the other end of the bar to fill my drink or get my food before it was almost ice cold. The BBQ... More

I had so much hope for this place. With a desire for Bar B Q I was drawn to the firehouse decor and a menu confirming that a host of bar b q selections were featured. After sitting at the bar and studying the menu I chose the two meat BarBQ platter of pulled pork and beef brisket. Unfortunately the... More

OK, overall not bad, but it just has that typical suburbia sterile feel. The food is your average bar fare, the service wasn't horrible but is wasn't great either. The Fire Service theme is the major draw and they've done a good job with that. There's a Fire Truck converted to bar and lots of gear on display. The prices... More

I stopped in at around 10:30, as I had just got into town and asked the front desk for somewhere that served food late. They sent me to Halligan. Upon arrival, I was greeted coldly. I asked for a menu and asked if they were still serving. The girl frowned and said "what time is it" and then said "yeah".... More

My wife and I stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. The restaraunt was busy, but not packed. I enjoyed the BBQ sandwich and sauce. The hushpuppies and homemade pickles are great! The service was excedingly slow. I do not blame the waitress, because she brought us the food as soon as it was available. The service may have been... More

I was seated between the bathrooms. It was stinky so I moved to the window. Ordered 2 meats and 2 sides - brisket was very tough, pulled pork was doused in vinegar, and cornbread was dry. I love BBQ and definitely wouldn't recommend it here. Sides were mashed potatoes and green beans - both ok. Overall, nothing to write home... More

My husband and I live in the area and were looking for a Sunday brunch place, so we decided to give them a try. Very empty at about noon, which was a little concerning, but we actually had a good meal. They do $3.50 bloody marys and mimosas all day, and my bloody mary was very tasty. The portions are... More

They had a lunch special where you could get a sandwich for $3, a side for $2 and a drink for $1 that was very good but that has ended. My friends and I will go there much less now, we liked the value!

I came here with my five grandkids and their parents. The food and beer selection was very good. In fact I would recommend the ribs. But I am a customer service expert. I work at an Association of Customer Service. The waitresses were very good but the Manager was great. My Granddaughter is a picky eater. She did not like... More
