Excellent food, and better service than typical Mexican restaurants. I particularly liked the Camarones Diablo, a very spicy shrimp dish served over white rice.

This is my go to spot for Mexican food. Many of the mexican food places use a poor quality beef which is discusting. All dishes I have tried are good. Like this for lunch and dinner with Spouse, family with kids, Friends and coworkers.

They have a unique seasoning that they use in most of their dishes. Prices are fair for what you get.

Step into the restaurant and you will not see a lot of Mexicans eating here, there's a reason this is not mexican food. Just because a Mexican cook the food does not make it mexican food. I would know I'm mexican. The food here has been adapted to carter to the local demographic. Which is smart for business volume, but... More

I normally eat at the Mexico in Mechanicsville where I work, but my husband and I live in Short Pump and went to eat at the one here. I have eaten at the Mexico in Mechanicsville and Williamsburg road so many times, I accumulated several free lunches with the punch cards. I like the one in Mechanicsville the best, maybe... More

This place is exactly what most people expect in a "Mexican" restaurant nowadays... A vast collection of combo platters covered in bland sauces and accompanied by refried beans and dryed out rice. I am not saying the food is bad, it is just boring. The menu is the same as most Mexican places outside of the southwest or Hispanic neighborhoods,... More

This restaurant was walking distance from my hotel and was one of the few open on a Sunday night. I thought the food was quite good, and the margarita was excellent. Prices were reasonable. Staff was friendly, personable and efficient. What more can you ask for?

There aren't words to describe this food. It's not fresh, it tasted like it came straight from a can and box pre-mix sauces. URGH and YUK!

One free basket of chips and salsa. 0.99 for any after that. Nothing spectacular. It was your basic mexican food.
