After a long day hiking our family of four had a late dinner at Soul Mountain. We were tired and really hungry.. After a trip to the bathroom and a view into the kitchen we were ready to walk out. Filthy walls and floors and the kitchen looked dreadful. It took a really long time for our food to arrive... More

We enjoyed your dinner, especially my son with his curry chicken, but I found it a wee pricey. I will however visit you again on another special occasion.

We heard the food was good but won't know. 30 min after we order we checked on the salad and wings we ordered. 10 min later we checked again and she said it was being plated. 10 min later we checked and she said "it's been like this all day. I dont know what is going on" and she began... More

Hadn't been back to "Soul Mountain" in quite a while. They were moderately busy, and our server was efficient, fun and made our lunch more enjoyable. The meals were good, and my husband and his friend definitely enjoyed the HUGE brisket sandwiches. We like that you can substitute grilled veggies for the French fries. My friend and I had the... I understand in small towns food choices are slim, but it doesn't make it ok to settle for sub standard cuisine. The dining atmosphere is quite plain and does not really scream culinary creativity or interest in establishing a theme for a customer base. Only three other tables were occupied upon our arrival. After looking over a hectic menu (with... More

The food was delicious and a very good value. Best BBQ I've tasted in a long time. We'll definately go back again.

It was a hot day on lunch time. There was no air conditioning, just ventilators that didn't help much. The restaurant was full of flies. My spouse asked what kind of lager beer they have and the server offered different kinds of beer - not lager - so we understood that they don't have any lager beer. I asked if... More

From the time the waitress took our order, middle of the afternoon, until the food arrived at our table, was almost an hour. The room is rather noisy and echo-y, so we did not get to enjoy our wait. The food and prices were mediocre.

Chef Gary and staff (Kim and Thomas), thank you for catering my dear friend's wedding. It was a spectacular celebration and the menu contributed to the success of the occasion. Since the wedding was at my friend's house in Luray we were able to enjoy the leftovers the next day! The brisket, cold roasted vegetable pasta salad, roasted chicken with... More
