Interior matches the name.

The restaurant had lots of interesting things to look at and read on the walls and around. Lots of Civil War memorabilia. The food was okay, but not really worth the cost.

This place was very expensive for what you got. I went when they were still open and it was like a 12.00 hamburger. Place was dark and dingy. Great parking lot. Hope that someone opens a great restaurant in this location.

Their crab legs are great... the rest of the menu is greasy, undercooked, and in general unappetizing. They have recently closed their doors... which was no surprise to me.

You sure can't tell a book by its cover. Looks authentic, nostalgic and has lots of Civil War memorabilia but then comes the food/service part. One waitress and about 12 table with actual people sitting at them. Took about 10 minutes to get noticed although the waitress passed us several times. Finally ordered a drink...another 10 minutes. The waitress was... More

My fiancé and I took a trip to Shenandoah Valley and it is not easy to find places to eat around there unless you want ice cream or pizza. We stumbled upon this place after driving around and were pleasantly surprised. I got Cajun chicken pasta and he got a sirloin. The food was great and very reasonably priced. The... More

Definitely a bit of local color at the Stonewall Jackson. We went on a lark, but enjoyed our meal. Service was friendly and attentive. Prices are very reasonable. The attached bar is interesting for people watching at the end of the evening.

Very disappointed in this place. I was told the food was great, not. Wait staff are almost as bad as the food.

Well I ate there one night. Let me just begin with the worst dinner I had in my life! I ordered steak with a baked potato and coleslaw, the steak wasn't cooked right at all it was cold by the time I got it, the potato Julytasted like it was older than my grandmother and I took one bite of... More

I'm out of town and am tired of chain restaurants so this was a great choice. The food was delicious and the waitress was very friendly. However, I do believe my mother and I were the only customers in the entire restaurant. I found that was a little strange. Other than that it was a very tasty, historical experience.
