STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! There were 14 of us. It took over 30 minutes to get our drinks, which most were water and we had to ask again to receive them. They were not refilled. The food came out is spurts. The last food came out and the rest of the people were done. Do not order chicken parm... More

Definitely a bit of local color at the Stonewall Jackson. We went on a lark, but enjoyed our meal. Service was friendly and attentive. Prices are very reasonable. The attached bar is interesting for people watching at the end of the evening.

Very disappointed in this place. I was told the food was great, not. Wait staff are almost as bad as the food.

Well I ate there one night. Let me just begin with the worst dinner I had in my life! I ordered steak with a baked potato and coleslaw, the steak wasn't cooked right at all it was cold by the time I got it, the potato Julytasted like it was older than my grandmother and I took one bite of... More

I'm out of town and am tired of chain restaurants so this was a great choice. The food was delicious and the waitress was very friendly. However, I do believe my mother and I were the only customers in the entire restaurant. I found that was a little strange. Other than that it was a very tasty, historical experience.

Only 2 other patrons in the restaurant during dinner time, should have tipped us off. Pitcher of water had a large crack and huge chip missing...classy. rolls were so scorching hot they were no doubt microwaved and only given 2 of them in the bread basket. Steak was mediocre. Broccoli had absolutely no seasoning and was forgotten by waitress. After... More

We met up with family members who came to Virginia to tour the Civil War sites. The restaurant itself sits on the site of a historic battle. The restaurant must draw based on its name alone. We all traveled a huge distance and were overall disappointed with the restaurant's offerings. The food was very "under"-whelming, if such a word exists.... More

Dropped in for a late dinner. The place was empty. I mean empty. The dining area had 4 people in it, 3 of them were with me. There were a handful of people in the attached bar area where they have some sort of open mic. The decor was neat, if you're a history buff. If you don't like civil... More
