The endless creativity of Chef-Owners David and Stacy Gedney has produced an excellent bistro alternative to the commitment of fine dining restaurants and to the ennui of the countless chain restaurants. Element offers a variety of sapid dishes for lunch and dinner in a relaxed and modern atmosphere, augmented by a full bar, beers on draft and an elegant wine list. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and great service. The menu is eclectic with foods freshly prepared. When visiting Front Royal, don't miss this opportunity to enjoy great food and dine with the friendly locals. When we are visiting Front Royal, we will return.

We were recommended by some local people to try this place, this was lucky as it is not as prominent as some other eateries and we may well have passed it by. The menu was very impressive and we saw other diners food passing by us that looked very good. It was one of those days when we wanted something... More

Like the title says this place was excellent and really unexpected. A combination of exceptional service, innovative foods and very reasonable wine prices leads to a memorable evening of fine dining at a great price. Hard to imagine beating this place even in a big metropolis, and in Front Royal it was more than welcome. Add a little bit of... More

We hit Element for lunch and it was such a delightful experience. Fresh food, well made and reasonably priced. Wish we could have had a glass of wine to go with it. They have a really cool wine room/cocktail area. Their dinner menu looks great too! This is definitely worth a stop.

A very quiet and comfortable atmosphere, the food is excellent and the service only a little slow but expected for this type of restaurant. Well presented but more flavourful than you would expect for a small "country" location. Good food server well, presentation is good.

We were touring the Front Royal area during lunch so we ended up coming here, since it was highly rated on Yelp. We arrived here on the Memorial Day Saturday for lunch. The restaurant is located in a small rather shabby house along the main Royal Ave. We drove by the place and turned around to park in the rear... More

We had a lovely meal here after driving through Shenandoah National Park. Salmon and quail were our main courses both cooked very well. I'd recommend this restaurant.

The owner of the B&B we stayed in recommended Element, and I can see why! The food was delicious and moderately-priced, the interior was cozy, and the service was friendly. We both ordered the chicken and it was moist and juicy, and the wine recommendation was also outstanding. We enjoyed our meal immensely! The only downside was the scary bathroom... More
