The endless creativity of Chef-Owners David and Stacy Gedney has produced an excellent bistro alternative to the commitment of fine dining restaurants and to the ennui of the countless chain restaurants. Element offers a variety of sapid dishes for lunch and dinner in a relaxed and modern atmosphere, augmented by a full bar, beers on draft and an elegant wine list. We adjust the menu regularly to keep our ingredients fresh and our choices interesting.

I've only eaten here once, but am looking forward to returning. We used Front Royal as a mid-point between the DC metro area and a state park in WVA. We loved the old J's Gourmet, so wanted to try its successor. This is a cozy restaurant, with a small bar in the back. They also have a retail wine section,... More

My family and I were on vacation in Front Royal Va. We had a wonderful dinner on Saturday nite at Element Restaurant in Front Royal. Food was excellent. Service as well. Definitely would recommend this wonderful restaurant. We also thoroughly enjoyed the Easter Sunday brunch at Element. The choices were all wonderful. The brunch started off with a very generous... Not many menu choices. I probably won't go back because of the very tight seating. Uncomfortable. The sandwich and soup were very good

Have eaten here a number of times - whenever in the area. Consistently good lunches. Upstairs is Apartment 2g which serves great dinners. Family owned and run. No chain food available :)

A more modern menu than many places out here in the country. The food and service are always good and reasonably priced.

We celebrated New Year's at Element, our go-to restaurant for creative, exquisitely-prepared food, and as usual, chefs David and Stacy Gedney didn't disappoint! The 7-course, prix-fixe meal included foie gras with bacon and apples, seared sea scallops, mushroom-stuffed quail with truffle butter, an orange-tequila-jalapeno sorbet, lobster (claw and tail) with "seriously small oranges" (a.k.a. kumquats), crusty butter-poached beef loin, and... This is one of my favorite places for lunch. There aren't many quaint places nearby for lunch. Element has a decent wine list and a wine shop to browse in while you wait on lunch. The tomato dill soup is scrumptous and I love the variety of sandwiches. I'm not a big fan of chicken or turkey so it's nice... More

We stopped in for a late Saturday lunch. Menu is limited to sandwiches, but both the turkey and the warm spinach with cream cheese were finger-licking tasty! Friendly staff, quick service, and delicious food. Just what we hoped for and Element delivered perfectly.
