Pretty Good Lunch!!

Stopped by for lunch while checking out some antique shops on the same street. My wife had an egg salad sandwich with chips which she said was very good. I had one of the lunch specials which was scallops with coleslaw and potato salad and for $5.50 the price can't be beat and it really tasted... read more

Very economical basic country cooking. Daily specials are usually quite good & home made. Home fries are fresh cut. Several pie choices...all home made & delicious. Really enjoy the lemon meringue, coconut meringue, & chocolate pies. ---Not open for dinner.

The title says it all. We were pleased with this small restaurant that has been a part of Front Royal for a very long time. You can see the history, but it's not covered by dust and grease like some other places I've been to in the past. Everything was clean and the staff was very pleasant. I got pancakes... More

Food is good, all the normal breakfast items can be had here every day from about 5:00 AM. I feel it is a locals place and when your there everybody that comes and goes during your say seems to know each other. The contractors eat there, the local eat there the place seems like a family. Not everybody will enjoy... More

We liked the fact it was open early and the service was good. I had oatmeal and raisins and the others had bacon and eggs. Everyone was satisfied and happy.

Pancakes and sausage gravy, biscuits homemade and excellent. It looks like a home town diner but very clean. Wait staff very friendly and prompt. We were traveling through area and loved this place.

My husband, two teenage boys and I stopped at Wynn's for a hearty breakfast before setting out to hike in the Shenandoah National Park. We left satisfied, full and happy. Omelettes, hotcakes and eggs over easy were nicely done and very inexpensive. Home fries were excellent. We purchased raspberry scones (only $1 each!) for a snack while in the park... More

The food here, especially breakfast, is fantastic. Eggs cooked perfectly every single time. Sausage gravy and biscuits to die for. The inside is not much to look at but it is very clean, service is great and I've never had food there that I didn't like. Only breakfast and lunch though so get there before 2 p.m.

My husband and me had breakfast here this past week and we are not really moved by the food quality. We were especially taken back by the charge for the glass of tap water! We are aware that the economy is not totally repaired, but 'come on people', give us a break. I would think with all the competition in... More

My wife and I stopped in on 2/6/14 for lunch. We did like the old diner appeal with comfortable booths but that is where is ended. My chicken salad sandwich looked like just two slices of bread with nothing in between and my wife's tuna fish salad plate was pathetic. We dine out quite a bit so much so, that... More
