Had lunch today and enjoyed the fish tacos. Awesome aioli and mangos. For $12 it was a little steep for lunch but large portion and cooked perfectly. I started with the crab and brie soup. Although the soup tasted fine, there wasn't one bit of crab to be found. For a coffee mug serving ( served this way) the price... More

Benjamin's is a warm, and inviting restaurant with friendly servers who pay attention to detail! The salmon I had was scrumptious and the steak my partner had was cooked to perfection. The sides and salads are always 'fresh' and delicious! You can't go wrong stopping in at Benjamin's with it's always a good place to meet and eat. During the... More

I mentioned to my wife that for my birthday, we should have dinner at Benjamin's located in Forest, Virginia home to Thomas Jefferson's summer retreat. The restaurant is located along route 221 and may appear to be somewhat rural as cattle still graze the huge pasture that borders Benjamin's. The feel of the place is rustic with some farm implements... More

We have eaten dinner there several times over the last couple of months. Each time the food has been delicious. We love the new back deck, the new heaters and the live music. The quality of food is excellent and the service is great.

Finally got the family to Benjamin's to partake in their Sunday brunch on October 5, 2014. As divine as their regular dinner menu. I had the hobo breakfast basket and i substituted the local sausage for the bacon. Wanted to lick the plate when I was done, but my wife said no. My wife had the steak and egs and... More

Was here for a business lunch and dined on the deck. Great spot for a casual business meeting, and the blackened fish tacos were superb and possibly some of the best fish tacos I have ever had. Very unique taco shells! Would highly recommend this establishment and will most certainly return on future business trips.

Enjoyed a great business meal last night with 9 people. We called for reservations and they were spot on. It is a very nice atmosphere with unbelievable service. The food is very special with how it is prepared. I would highly recommend this place for a dinner with friends, family or a group of business associates.

We went here for dinner, Friday Sept 12, 2014. It was our first visit and I am not sure I would go again. We were looking for a light supper, so we ordered the French Dip sandwich and Crab cake Po boy. The service was average, the bread was the best part of the sandwiches. Each sandwich was $10 and... While staying for a week in a cabin not far from this small town, we came down for a family dinner one evening. It was excellent! Great menu, good variety of dinners and sandwiches. They also had a decent kid's menu as well. There is a small bar, a nice inside area and a nice outdoor section out back. It... More

I got a steak and a crab cake; and I can honestly say it was the most disgusting thing I have ever eaten. They just were not cooked right.. I could also hear the chefs talking in the back and they were extremely rude. I have never heard such drama. It's as if teenagers are cooking back there. So overall... More
