We have visited the winery and Restaurant at least 15 times and had really enjoyed our time, food and service until this past weekend! We had reservations for out on the deck at 12:30 PM on a Saturday. We arrived on time and were seated on the deck within 10 minutes. Our hostess, water server and waitress were courteous, prompt... Lunch on the outdoor deck was great and chocolate flam dessert was heavenly. We have been here several times and have always enjoyed it.

Thanks for the kind words. The outside patio seating is very desirable. Open Table ranked it one of the top 100 restaurant views in America back in 2013. While we cannot guarantee seating we do suggest that guests request it when making their reservations if they would like to be seated on the terrace. Thanks again and come back and... More

We have been there before and enjoyed it, but this visit was disappointing. The carrot/ginger soup (special) and the duck egg rolls were excellent, but the entrees (North Carolina catfish and beef tenderloin) were below average. The beef especially was chewy and dry. We willl return because of previous good experiences, but this time it was not up to par.

Just ate dinner at Chateau Morrisette with family and friends. They had a special Guest Chef weekend, with Chef Paul Schroeder. Dinner was a special 6-course prix fixe meal that was outstanding. Each course was a thoughtful, inventive mix of flavors and textures, and though it was a set menu, the chef graciously accommodated my being a vegetarian. Wine was... More

The setting itself is absolutely beautiful, the wine makes it so much better. The free tours are a nice added touch as well. The only thing better than the view and the wine, is the fact that they have a program that helps with medical bills for service dogs. Definitely a reason for cheers!

Restaurant was great. Beautiful view, server was excellent, food was delicious. Nouveau Chien is the best wine I have tasted. Worth the trip.

We celebrated wife's birthday at Chateau Morrisette with family, and as always we were pleased with all aspects. Two had French Onion Soup that were awesome, the entrees were perfect portions and expertly prepared and Logan was spot on as a server. I had the tasting menu, four courses with matching wines, a great choice for me. The staff went... More

My husband and I went to the winery first and then to the restaurant. We took a tour of the winery where an older man gave us told us the ends and outs; he was great. At the restaurant our server was great and the place was so cozy with the fire place lit; was just beautiful. The food was... More
