My fiancé and I was passing through on our way to Skyline Drive. We wanted to eat lunch before we get there. When we got there, we were shocked at how beautiful it was in there. It was nothing expected. It was a beautiful, sunny day. The food was excellent. I ordered a Ham and Brie sandwich. I know it... More

I have eaten here more times than I can count. It is our favorite place for Sunday brunch! Love the outdoor patio for dining and the great music on the weekends in the summer. The dining room is beautiful, service is always very good and the food is delicious! Stop by and enjoy!

Inventive hors d'oeuvres, perfectly cooked fish. I got catering, and they served my wine and a birthday cake.

We were staying at the Marriott Ranch, visiting wineries and opted to have dinner here one night. The inside is ultra modern which seems out of place in a historic building but nice. They have an impressive wine list, and a large menu so there dis something for everyone. My husband had the brisket and although very tasty it was... More

We were staying the weekend in the area to visit some of the local wineries and decided to have dinner at Flint Hill on the recommendation of our B&B. The interior has a very modern look to it, and the menu had several appealing options. We both settled on the steak and although we were expecting it to be good,... More

Stopped at the spur of the moment. Received warm welcome - including from chef. Sat on deck outside on lovely fall day. Generous portions. Excellent service. Really great food. Brisket with Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes was outstanding.

We were too tired to appreciate the grand cuisine at the Inn at Little Washington upon our arrival, so we tried this restaurant located 10 minutes from the Inn. We had wonderful comfort food -- starting with a hot crab dip. I proceeded to have a Caesar salad and pot roast -- both were excellent. My wife enjoyed a pasta... More

My wife and drive from our home north of Charlottesville to Bedford Pa.on a semi regular basis, traveling through Flint Hill for over 30 years. We finally stopped for an early dinner today 10/19. The menu is wonderful, and the main dining rooms are beautiful. The old school house has been beautifully renovated to also include bar, lounge, and outdoor... More

We decided to make the drive to try this restaurant for our Anniversary. We were seated and two glasses of champagne were brought to us. This was a nice touch except if one does not drink alcoholic beverages. The waitress should have inquired if this was ok or perhaps a dessert? I had the hot salad. The mixture of meat,... More

Walk in to the Public House and you are struck by the ultra modern decor - something from Park Avenue in NYC. But the people are just friendly and attentive - unlike NYC. The back deck is the place to be and the food is excellent. It is a great place for a fall lunch, enjoying the food, the drink... More
