An experienced staff with outstanding food, grand accommodations, outstanding décor, for the art lover and friend who appreciate the unusual and the extraordinary.. Very reasonable pricing and great service, great bar and outdoor entertaining. Perfectly manicured grounds and a Jeffersonian garden to die for. Beautiful. Not just another great restaurant, much more. Do yourself a favor and take the time... More

We had asked our hotel if we should make reservations and were told that we didn't need to. When we arrived at the restaurant we were greeted by the hostess who asked if we had reservations. We explained that we didn't and why. Then were told that they would call our hotel to make sure they knew we should have... More

Food and wine were excellent !!! Prices were amazing . The service was perfect. The chef is amazing. In the warmer months it is like going to family for an amazing gourmet meal and resting by the patio listening to a local musician or relaxing in the hammock while the kids catch fireflies. It's the best kept secret in Virginia... More

Great food and atmosphere. I love the town of Flint Hill. I would recommend the town and restaurant to someone wanting to escape the city and/or go someplace more quiet and with character.

I have driven passed this place a few times and even been recommended to go by two different friends. The renovated old home into a contemporary decor had me thinking this was another overpriced, hoity-toity place for elitist and wannabes. But, true to our adverturous nature, we like to try new places and see what they offer and hope to... More

First off this is a beautiful restaurant and country inn. It was nicely decorated for Christmas. Yes, I said Christmas. Anyhow. Went with a large group. I made the mistake of ordering the Buffalo Chicken Salad. It was okay but way overpriced, even for a place like this. Also got the Pecan Pie that was so so at best. The... More

My fiancé and I was passing through on our way to Skyline Drive. We wanted to eat lunch before we get there. When we got there, we were shocked at how beautiful it was in there. I have eaten here more times than I can count. It is our favorite place for Sunday brunch! Love the outdoor patio for dining and the great music on the weekends in the summer. The dining room is beautiful, service is always very good and the food is delicious! Stop by and enjoy!

Inventive hors d'oeuvres, perfectly cooked fish. I got catering, and they served my wine and a birthday cake.
