We have passed this place several times during our travels but had never stopped. We are so glad we finally decided to venture in! Inside the historic exterior, the interior is modern and inviting. I have been there several times for dinner. This elegant little restaurant serves excellent food with friendly service. We are becoming regulars there. The interior is surprisingly modern compared to the outside of the building, and is a pleasant surprise. I really enjoy the art work every time I am there. I have had several of their entries, and they... More

I came here with my family a couple of times. I have sat both outside and inside and I think outside is the way to go! We brought our dog and enjoyed the outside and the dog menu which was perfect! My mom and I enjoyed a bottle of wine and dinner with a great atmosphere and great food! my... More

My family went to this restaurant for Thanksgiving Dinner. As another TA review....we were disappointed. We also experienced slow and sloppy service, having to ask repeatedly for basic things like a bread plate. We had the fixed menu, $40 per person plus gratuity. The salads and squash soup were the best parts of the meal. The pecan pie was also... More

I'm not sure if this location failed because of the day of our visit (Thanksgiving), or because of our server. The Flint Hill Public House is a bright, airy location that welcomes its guests. Our party of four ordered off the set menu, with each selecting a different item. All seemed to enjoy their selection, except myself (the prime rib... More

Flint Hill Public House is in an old school house surrounded by lawns and gardens, which makes it a great venue for warm weather dining and imbibing. The food and wines are excellent. Service is usually wonderful, always good. The rest rooms are impeccable and the decor outstanding. Indoors, the noise level is high, which is the only reason for... More

Thank you for taking the time for your review. I am so glad that you enjoyed your stay. In regards to the sound level this is an older building and the acoustics are not the greatest, but we have installed some sound times on the dining room ceilings and they have made a significant difference in sound. We look forward... More

My sister introduced me to the Public House several years ago. It's a little pricey, but the food and atmosphere are worth every penny. We've taken mom on occasion and even though she does not like people fussing over her, she enjoyed it as well.
