The inside is fancy and modern but we ate outside because the weather was so perfect. The outside patio is great and there is a nice garden to look at. The food was good too, nothing overcooked and the risotto was cooked just right. I did not know we were just in time for happy hour (didn't notice it until... More

Our first experience, about a year or so ago, was not great. But, we wanted to try it again and I'm so glad we did! Still love the decor. The food was outstanding. We've sat in the dining room and the patio - both are lovely. The service is friendly. Loved the ginger lemon martinis.

Unbelievable deal. 1 bottle of wine and a three course big meal for two for only $40 a couple. Hope they keep that up. The garden setting only enhances your dining experience

In short, the website for this restaurant does NOT do it justice. You must try this restaurant out if you are anywhere in the area. The decor is beautiful, like something out of downtown DC. The entire staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was simply delicious! Everything we had was fantastic. Including my cucumber martini and "Betty's cake... More

We made reservations for our 25th anniversary and was met with flowers on the table and a complimentary glass of champagne each. Since it is a lunch menu, the accommodated our wish for a steak meal. The meat was awesome along with everything that came with it. We also ordered the desert platter which came with four deserts. We thought... More

This is a review of the their catering service's. We have always had great experiences in the restaurant but we needed food for the Old Dominion Hounds Point to Point Horse Race. Gave Chef Marvin and Manager John a budget with only two requests, PB&J's for our ample tyke crowd and a soup and let them run with it. I... More

We love to go to brunch on Sunday afternoons and try to go at least once a month. This was our first visit to Flint Hill Public House and we were quite pleased with the experience. The dining area is comfortable although not anything special. The tables are somewhat close to each other so I imagine that it could become... More

I can honestly say that I visited this restaurant on a whim, with a group of friends that wanted to visit after a day visiting the area. The restaurant was very accommodating with the reservations and expanding by two on a short notice for a Saturday night in the winter. There ambiance was rich but noisy because of the high... More

Dear Sara, Thanks for your insightful feedback and comments. I will discuss your comments with the staff so we can correct any shortfalls and improve in areas you outlined needing attention. We are also researching sound baffling materials that will blend in with our decor. The recent installation of the glass doors to create a vestibule and provide a buffer... More

My husband and I got married and had our reception here February 12, 2013. We were so impressed with John, Marvin and their staff. The food was magnificent and we could not of asked for better service. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a special place to have their wedding.

We stopped here for dinner while travelling on vacation - the food was good, very plentiful (I took half my entre away with me), and the room was modern but comfortable. The service was a bit "slap it down" and untrained, but maybe we caught them on a short-staffed night. It wasn't a big deal, and we'd still recommend this... More
