The crab cake was not tasty and had a lot of filler. The chicken was dry and terrible tasting. The vegetables were over cooked. The staff was not accommodating for food allergies. For $20 a meal you would be better at Ruby Tuesdays...

A friend recommended this restaurant after learning I was staying nearby. It's in the downtown Farmville warehouse district. Exposed brick walls and wood beam construction inside, and an outdoor area near the water. The entree salads were very good. We enjoyed the paradise salad with chicken, the southern antipasto salad, and the gluten free taco salad. And dessert: wow! Carrot... More

Our hotel recommended this restaurant when we were in the area for a hiking trip. We're not really fast food people, and this place had some pasta, salads, and sandwiches which suited everyone. I think it's an old tobacco warehouse, so the building itself is interesting, and our waitress was wonderful. We were so glad to find an unusual yet... More

Stopped in for lunch. Loved the atmosphere. The food was fantastic, I had the triple decker club sandwich! Wish it had been warm enough to eat out on the deck that overlooked the river. Definitely recommend this place for lunch.

I walked amd had to find someone to seat me. Waited 15 minutes for my drink and water and for someone to take my order. Never happened, so I left. Don't go here.

as dinner here with friends on a Monday night. It was a pretty quiet evening, and the restaurant was about half filled. We had the filet and it was cooked perfectly. The service was friendly and attentive. Garden salads were large and fresh. Would definitely return.

I was visiting Longwood University and stopped in for lunch. The restaurant was crowded on a Saturday afternoon which is a good sign. The waitress was very nice and friendly and the craft beer selection on tap was very good. I had a French Dip sandwich that was very chewy and my daughter had soggy chicken fingers. Honestly, I was... More

While visiting Farmville this weekend we decided to stop in mostly because the name sounded so appealing. Chance to sit looking over the river, right? Wrong. Only if you sit outside will you even get close to see the river but that's ok. The place is pretty cool with a real old warehouse look to it. But the food left... More

My nonprofit organization met at Charley’s for a lunch time business meeting. There were more than 40 members present. We were in a room at the rear of the restaurant with a scenic view of the river. It must be spectacular in the summer. There was iced tea and water available with some pastries prior to the meeting. During the... More
