My Venezuelan friend has frequented this place since before they became well known, and she invited me to try arepas the with her. Food was amazingly delicious (grilled arepas sifrinas, y arepas domino, guava and passionfruit juices, yucca fries, tres Leches cake and quesillo) but prices were kind of high. .. $9 for one arepa? And the waitress was argumentative,... More

They have a nice variety of food. I tried one of their Peluda Arepas--so tasty and flavorful-- and a bowl of the Sopa de Mani--which was equally as flavorful in a different way. I would love to have the opportunity to go back. It is just a little pricey but well worth making the effort and spending the money. My... More

This restaurant has good food, specialty Venezuelan arepas, these are like bread you can eat them along or filled with anything you want; they are similar the savadorean's pupusas. The only thing is the average price for each arepa filled is around $8; I consider that this price is extremely high considering the price to buy a package of dough... More

This little restaurant is a hidden treasure in Falls Church. Attached to a motel you don't think to give this place a second though. You know the old adage, "Don't judge a book by its cover", this is further evidence you have to look deeper. Amazing AREPAS and the pulled beef was outstanding. I WILL definitely be bacK - margaritas,... More

The are pas are the sizable if palate, warn and crunchy corn meal overflowing with filling. One and a salad would made a fine lunch. Very interesting food in the heart of downtown.

We have eaten in here once for lunch and it was good. Very recently we had the not so bright idea to get take out from here for dinner. While the food was absolutely amazing, we were definitely very frustrated by the petite portions (c'mon chef - it's mostly chicken, beans & rice ... Not filet mignon or lobster) on... More

We ate here on a weeknight so it wasn't as busy. If you want to go on the weekend then you should definitely make a reservation. Service was pretty good, though I believe much of that had to do with the fact that it wasn't packed. We had just watched the re-air of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives so we decided... More

I'm usually not very adventurous when it comes to dining, so when my wife suggested this place for Venezuelan food I was apprehensive... but what a pleasant surprise. This small eatery offered a cozy atmosphere and friendly service. The food was excellent, and the menu offered choices to satisfy even a picky eater such as myself. No problem getting a... More

Food very good, service excellent, atmosphere nice, especially if it's warm and you can sit outside. The arepas are awesome. I had the chicken with rosada sauce with big chunks of chicken, wonderful tasting sauce, and great cornmeal cooked just right. If I went back, I would probably get two or three arepas as the main course. The rice and... More

This is a great hidden gem in Falls Church. The food and drinks are delicious and authentic (as far as I can tell) and the busy staff keeps everything running smoothly! Tiny place so best to book ahead.
