Not sure what is going on here, but I convinced my husband to stop here rather than Dave's on a beautiful Sunday afternoon since they have sweet potato fries and Dave's does not. We asked for an outside table since it was a beautiful day (1:00 p.m.). We were greeted promptly and taken outside. The patio area is in serious... More

Food was tasty and was served promptly. Server was quite attentive. There was something for everyone on the menu, and we would definitely return!

We have been going to Red, Hot & Blue for years and have even used their catering service. I also bring my ladies group there for dinner once a year. Our recent visit fell in line with all of our previous experiences. Very good food, OK service and a reasonable price.

Great "delish" food as always. The BEST greens side dish around. Tried the salmon and it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Now the decor.... The place definitely needs a refresh; a little investment, to bring it into current times. It is not 1990 anymore.

Ten years ago this use to be a great barbeque restaurant. It has slipped and today, it has become just an OK place to eat. However, I still love their potato salad. Not overly fancy, but it suits my tongue perfectly. I only wish I could say the same for the pulled pork, which has become too dry, less smokey... More

The décor here is a more like corporate designer goes out and finds all this blues-related stuff rather than the genuine look you get from a spot that collects memorabilia over time. But, the interior spaces are clean, comfortable, and welcoming and the food here is basic good food. No chef's creations and no surprises. Sometimes that is just what... More

The service was excellent and plenty of good food. Inside and outside tables. We enjoyed a free entrée for our anniversary.

We stopped here for lunch and were underwhelmed. While the service was great, the food was disappointing. The prices were much higher than expected ($3 for sweet tea?), and the chopped pork was dry and not very flavorful. We much preferred our lunch at the Auld Shebeen Irish Pub down the road the next day.

Red Hot & Blue used to be an occasional haunt for me and a close friend for BBQ ribs and grease-laden, but oh-so-tempting onion loaves. Our wives both disliked this fare, so this was an ideal place for boys dine out. But, the Fairfax location just doesn't stand up to other RH&B locations at which we have eaten. The ribs... More

We're regular visitors to RH&B in Fairfax, but they also have excellent restaurants elsewhere, including Arlington, VA. Our favorite menu items are the pulled pork platter, the pulled pork sandwich, and 1/2 slab of "dry" ribs. These dry ribs are the best we've found in several southern states. These are rubbed with spicy seasoning, not slathered with sauce, though you... More
