Neighborhood restaurant--nothing fancy or pretentious but food is good. Very welcoming with friendly staff who provide good service.

As noted in other reviews, I am an Italian food snob. In 33 years this is the second time I've visited this restaurant, and the first time was just for desert, so I don't want to judge too harshly. Whenever I go to an Italian restaurant I ask if there is anyone there who speaks the language. In this case... More

I love this restaurant. The staffs is friendly and service is good. It is one of the few places to get the fontina white pizza like the pizza we used to get in DC at AV Restaronti. The eggplant parmesan is the best I have ever had. Also, there is no parking problem.

Casa Italia is great. The service is very friendly and the food is delicious, non-pretentious Italian-American fare. I highly recommend it.

When I called to make the reservation I told the person that we wanted to have a nice dinner. I was assured that it would be. What a lie! There was a large party, loud music and they kept leaving the doors open. It was either hot or cold so I had to put my coat on my shoulders. The... More

I really won't visit here unless I have a coupon. The food is ok and it is Italian but the pasta is staged and not al dente. I had linguini with clam sauce. Good flavor but not extraordinary. The chicken Parmesan was done almost dry but not quite. Just nothing special that would keep me coming back. Service was great... More

Reminded me of places I went when I was a kid. Comprehensive (if standard) Italian fare, opera and classical Italian music playing overhead, white linen table cloths, and warm bread. Excellent service, an attentive manager (owner perhaps?), and relaxing overall experience.

One of the few local restaurants where I can carry on a conversation without raising my voice. It's nice that there is a choice of indoor seating, or sitting on the outdoor porch. The pasta and seafood selections are their strong points. The veal is disappointing. The bread is excellent. the owner is very friendly and is usually on site.

This was good Italian food at very reasonable prices and topped with excellent service. The pasta was cooked right and very tasty. Even the house salad which is usually a low point was pretty good. Friendly and attentive staff, I never had to look for them and a friendly owner that made me feel as if I could've been a... More

We went to Casa Italia for the first time last night for Valentine's Day. The restaurant was completely packed all evening, and most people seemed to be having a good time. The owner kept everything moving so people could be seated as quickly as possible, and he still made time to visit some of the tables to ask how they... More
