My girlfriends and I decided to go for dinner to Guapos and I was excited to try a new place. I had visited the website to see what the menu looked like and I was very pleased with what I saw. It was a nice warm day so we decided to sit outside on the shaded patio. We were quickly... More

Typical mexican restaurant that has a mile long menu.Wish they had more restaurants like this in Canada. All our food was tasty and fresh. Good portions except for enchiladas which weirdly came only two per entree, used to getting three and they weren't oversized. Chicken Fajitas were very good, pico de gallo was mild but good. Other tables had the... More

The food and service are good. The menu offerings are what I'd expect to find at most Mexican places but the quality is a bit better. Service is attentive without being over the top. (this is observed over a few visits) The noise level is bad, however, It's pretty loud inside; if you live across the street as I do,... More

First thing...I'm from Texas...San Antonio, in fact. Pretty much capital of Tex-Mex. I was doubtful as I did my investigation of the local resto's during my stay here, but decided to take a chance because 1) it was close, and 2) had pretty good reviews. To say I was pleasantly surprised was an understatement. Although made for the gringo customer,... More

The Guapo's chain is a real success story. Offering Hispanic food ranging from fast food to casual sit-down, it has developed a loyal clientele. This particular restaurant held true to form. The food was excellent. They do some little things very right. In addition to the usual basket of chips, each diner gets their own dish of salsa. In addition... More

Its about a dollar or two more than some competition; but well worth it. It is so clean, food is plentiful and tasty, and attentive professional staff. I always get spinach enchiladas, my wife gets something else and food is always so good. (The only good spinach enchilada in the metro area; otherwise you go all the way to Little... More

All of the familiar Mexican entrees are on the menu plus a few extras, like roasted pork. Everything I have had here is well prepared. I love their chips- light, crunchy, and served warm with fresh, mildly spiced salsa. Try the green salsa carefully. It is fairly hot. Service is good. The restaurant can be noisy on a busy night,... My husband and I frequent Guapo's It has consistently good food and great margarita's. We have never been disappointed with any of their menu items. If you are up to a dessert, we think they make the best sopapillas in the area. Go early, it gets very crowded.

This place is fantastic. I was in town visiting a group of coworkers, and about 30 of us gathered here for dinner. However, we arrived at different times, which could have presented a challenge for a different restaurant. We had a table in the back and it just kept getting bigger and bigger. They had no trouble finding room for... More

We had been thinking about having Mexican food - so we went for lunch. It was great. I had the Fiesta Salad. It was delicious...fresh ingredients chopped ( I love that) w/ chopped chicken. One of the best I've had. Companion had beef taco & chicken enchilada - very good. Extensive menu. A step above the average Tex - Mex.... More
