Better than average brew pub

Regional chain owned by Dogfish Head brewing company in Delaware. Great selection of beers, featuring their own products mostly. The lamb burger was good but a little overcooked and dry, or I'd rate the place even higher. Atmosphere is upscale "TGI Friday's antique," with a canoe on the ceiling... read more

I don't mind this place. Not my favorite beer selection but people love it. Food is pretty good. Service is good. I ll probably be back for happy hour but won't rush there.

It was our first visit here because of the beer selection and Father's Day. We had the ribeye special with loaded mash and mushrooms. Fabulous!!!!!!! We also ordered the lobster roll as a starter. It was ok. The sweet roll helped a lot. He had the sampler and then ordered the Palo beer, which was ok. I ordered Reisling as... More

The service was lackluster and pretty impersonal for it being our first (and last) visit. We ordered the crab and cheese dip it had a little sprinkling of crab on top and the rest was warm cream cheese. One ordered a pizza the crust was mushy and wet. Everything else was just alright. The French fries are delicious that may... More

Had to wait 1 hour for table on a Friday night. Food was good but nothing special. Once seated service was very slow even waiting for the check was a process.

After a long day I found my way to the bar at the dogfish ale house. Alone I bellied up to the bar and ask for a recommendation for a local ale and I was not disappointed. Great service and quality beers with an incredible selection. Don't miss it.

We finally were able to visit a Dogfish Head Pub on our recent trip to NoVA, and it was terrific experience. Great pub-oriented food, and excellent, beer of course. The service was excellent and attentive without being obnoxious, and I loved the pub's interior decorations. A great place, and I wish they would put one in Richmond, VA!

Great menu- something for everyone. Were happy to accomodate our party of 14. Food was delicious and just as described. Enjoyed that the server offered to put in childrens orders ahead. Craft beers were delicious. Can be quite loud- busy. we always have a great time here and have never been disappointed.

After having a great brunch we needed to have something simpler for dinner. The burgers were fine, nothing spectacular. My son had a tuna burger which he really liked. They are famous for their brew which we did not try, though I understand it is good. The service was good. Our food came out hot and our waitress did come... More

I was pleased that as a non-hophead, I could find enjoyable beers here, in a denison of lupulin. Keep an eye on the seasonal brews ... unless you're a devotee of 60-minute or 90-minute, which are on tap pretty much all the time. Truth in reviewing: I am not a Dogfish Head fan. I'll spare you the reasons why, but... More
