Nice find, great food

My husband went there for early dinner ~ 5 PM. We really liked decor of this relatively small place (at least from the street it looks small). Great atmosphere but very few people at this early time. Pleasant soft Indian music. Food was delicious (Kashmiri murgh and spinach paneer), very fresh and... read more

As the title suggests, Curry Mantra is a bit pricier than most Indian restaurants, but the quality of the food is high. They offer some unique dishes and the service was quite good when we have visited. It's a bit out of our way, so between that and the cost, we don't go often, but it is certainly worth a... More

Hidden among some not so great looking places in a strip mall this well reviewed place and a fav of local critics lives up to its billing. Great, multi-regional Indian specialties, we enjoyed butter chicken, an excellent, tender lamb masala, 2 kinds of delicious naan and a few other specialties. We did this as take out and were very well... More

We went for a Mother's Day dinner. Every dish was spectacular! I had a sampler plate of varieties of lamb and chicken. We had garlic naan and tandoori chicken wings as a table. A Kingfisher beer was a great accompaniment. Plates of delicious food kept being brought out to every table. I wish we could have tried them all. Maybe... More

Why, oh why, can we not get hot and spicy Indian cuisine in No VA? Almost all the food here is sweet. I just want great Indian.. and leave out the sugar, honey, or fruit .

Service was very good and the food was full of flavor. Thought then goat curry and butter chicken were terrific. Not overly spicy and very filling. The garlic nan was wonderful as well. Nice decor, particularly for this little gem in a strip mall.

This place is fun. There are facts about India on the walls, brightly colored lights and large mirrors. I thought I might have been going to a nightclub rather than a restaurant as I approached the building. I had vegetable korma and it was good but I felt it was overpriced. Garlic naan was what you'd expect, also too expensive.... More

After reading the reviews about this place, decided to go there once. Initial Impression: Good Decor, Nice place but thatz it. The demo ends & reality begins.... Food: The food is not at all good. Costly when compared to other places I have been like Haandi and the quantity served is too less. They have prices like 15 dollars minimum... More
