Love This Restaurant

Great Food, Awesome Service. I love the Barg, and their Hummus is wonderful. Try their Mango Martini.

Excellent, flavorful and atmosphere. A great spot to eat and different from the usual fare out there. The dumplings (mantu) were excellent!

The night before we first ate here, we ate at a highly-reputed middle eastern restaurant in Boston. This place is much, much better. Like many hidden gems, Mazadar Kabob is located in a strip mall. But, upon entering, you are greeted by the owner, Mr. Zahory or a family member. The dining room is divided by a long architectural pond... More

A friend suggested we meet up at this place before a show at George Mason, and it was spectacularly good! It's easy to miss this little shopping center (look for the Starbucks and be ready to turn in perhaps before your GPS says to...) and easy to overlook the restaurant, but Go In! It's really rather beautiful inside, you can... More

We lived in NoVA for almost 2 years and went to Mazadar Restaurant (formerly Mazadar Kabob) almost every week. Went there the first time as more of a fluke (it was in the same strip mall as our 3 year olds preschool). We ended up quitting the preschool, but still kept going back to MK week after week and even... More

Although they do serve kabobs, this restaurant is much, much more. We shared two appetizers, a lamb dinner and a custard dessert; all wonderful. service was professional and suggestions helpful. The setting is airy and beautiful. Very convenient to GMU. We would strongly recommend this place.

By far and hands down the best middle eastern restaurant. Excellent food , service, ambiance. You are being pampered . Try the "carrot alwah" and the "firnee" for dessert . unexpected surprise.

Do not mistake this for your common afghan kebab place. It is a restaurant with good service and nice refreshing cozy atmosphere. They have more selection than a kebab place and offer a variety of vegetative dishes as well.

Wanting to try a different meal, we were pleased with our choice of Mazadar. We arrived about 8pm but no candles were lit (as imagined by another reviewer.) It was an authentic atmosphere with comfortable seating. We seated ourselves in the pillowed banquets. Service was helpful with orders. We started with the sampler appetizer which had four dips and yummy... More
