Flame kabob is one of the rare places in Washington metro where they still sell a plate of kabob with rice and bread for a mere $6. Portion size is just right for a hearty lunch or a light dinner. They got 3 specials, including 4 pieces of boneless chicken, a stick of shish kabob of ground meat, and chunks... More

Truly a painful mistake in thinking food sans Gi issues was possible eating at Flame Kabob! King Kabob in Fairfax City has always been good and NEVER made me or my family violently ill so lesson learned! You'd think the vegetarian option would be a safe one. sigh

The lure of a $5.99 lunch special brought us into this seemingly ordinary strip mall restaurant. Not being from the area, for a fast lunch it was either that or MacDonalds so we took a chance Wow, were we surprised by how good it was. We both had the chicken kabobs which were made to order on the grill, moist... More

The food is quite good, but the prices have gone up a bit. In addition, The attitude of the tall man taking the order leaves a lot to be desired -- arrogant, cold, and with a boulder on his shoulder. I think he has personality issues.

I have eaten at Flame Kabob for many, many years. However in the past 6 months, there must be a change in ownership? The chicken kabob special has 4 very small pieces of chicken on the bed of rice. In the PAST, a customer would receive very large pieces of chicken. This just leaves the customer wanting more food. The... More

Kabobs, Gyros, Falafel they are all there and they are all good. I never have been to the Middle East, but I know I like the food. AWESOME!!! Little home style place with about five tables and one unisex bathroom. Truly supports the theory of great things coming in small packages!! Try you'll love it!! Enjoy.

This is a great little restaurant, friendly staff, good food. Decor could be better but for good quality Afghan food this is the place to go. While not technically Afghan the gyros here are great
