Shrimp and Grits to Die For and So Much More

I have traveled up and down the Gulf coast eating shrimp and grits, but it was in the tiny town of Damascus, VA where I found the best I have eaten. Nine large shrimp, bacon, andouille sausage and sautéed peppers and onions meld together in your mouth in what a friend calls a tastegasm. Now, The... read more

Our whole group ate breakfast here. Plenty of good food to get us up the mountain and back. Reasonable prices

Great coffee, free wi-fi, great sandwiches (no hamburgers or grilled sandwiches), and a modern quaint coffee shop in the middle of a quaint small town of five-hundred. Add pleasant service and you get the picture: a can't go wrong type of place for what you are looking for.

My family loved this place. We had a fantastic lunch and our favorite was the Creeper Philly sandwich. This is a relatively new owner who has lots of experience in the food service industry. I highly recommend it!

It was so nice to find a restaurant in this small town that had gluten free options. I stopped by for a snack after biking the Virginia Creeper Trail. I had one of the best bowls of potato soup I have ever had. I also had a mango smoothie - delicious! I went back the next morning for breakfast. I... More

We often ride the Va Creeper Bike Trail. Mojo's is around mile marker 18 at the edge of Damascus. Great coffee and food - breakfast and lunch all day. Wife likes the omlets. A bowl of the homemade soup is great after the ride in this cool weather.

My brother and I ate there recently while on an adventure in Virginia. The place we were originally going to eat at was closed... so glad it was. My brother said that the crabcake sandwich was probably one of the best that he had ever had... and he lives at the coast. This is a must! If we are ever... More

It says-- Coffee and looks small but don't pass up the best restaurant in town. First of all, it's not small. There's plenty of comfortable seating, high top tables for groups and comfy upholstered chairs for those who are ready to plop after hiking the trails or riding the Creeper trail uphill. Fresh and good with really friendly service makes... More
