Rancho Viejo is highly recommended, here you eat authentic Mexican food not Taco Bell-type crap. We made our first visit on 7/12/14, the restaurant is located less than a 1/2 mile off Interstate 81 @ Exit 150B across the street from the Howard Johnson motel on the South (West) side of the highway. Staff was friendly and polite, we were... More

Mexican food is one of our favorites and being that this one was located right by our hotel we figured we'd give it a shot. The service was good, attentive and timely. The chips and salsa were tasty and I loved the cilantro in the salsa. The other white sauce that they served with the chips was questionable. Tasted kind... More

This place is very clean and the service is friendly and competent. Food arrives super fast and the portions are generous. Does not have the selection of a native Mexican restaurant but it's one of the better "on the road" Mexican restaurants we've tried. Chimis were excellent made with beef tips, not ground beef. Carne Asada was a little overcooked... More

Thanks for good service, good food and comfortable atmosphere. A great place to relax and enjoy supper and drinks on our yearly trek to sunny Florida.

When you see latinos eating in a Mexican restaurant, it indicates the food must be good. We were not disappointed. Big variety of Mexican dishes at reasonable prices, sizable portions, and friendly, quick service.

I love good Tex-Mex food. Rancho Viejo had a good selection of items on the menu. I had their 3 enchilada special: cheese, chicken, and beef. The taste was not quite right, as if there was not enough sauce or seasons because I could taste the flavor of the enchilada shell. The meal, with rice and beans was okay but... More

This place is located next door to the Super 8 Motel. A nice family restaurant that gets full early. Good food and great service.

The restaurant easily handled our large business group that was traveling for a budget price. The food arrived quickly, was flavorful and fresh. Everyone was pleased with their orders. My allergies were accommodated too. I had the Cameron Yucatan, a shrimp and vegetable dish which had a pleasingly flavorful, light sauce. Some Mexican restaurants serve a pile of mushy brown... More

We got a 10% discount with Super 8 and went on a Thursday night when beer and margaritas are $3.99 so it made a great value meal. Plus, excellent quality and a very tasty Fajitas for two. Combined with Good atmosphere and good service we had a great night and staggered back a few feet to our hotel very full... More
