I ordered the half rack with sides. It is on the pricey side...$19, but the portions were quite generous. The meat could have been more tender and "off-the-bone," mine was not. It might have been taken out a bit too soon from the smoker?? Well, I loved the tomato-based bbq sauce: sweet and quite mild, but the heat crept up... More

We stopped by for lunch on our way back to Smith Mountain Lake from Roanoke. All I can say is WOW! No one in our group of 7 had anything bad to say about their meals. From the wings to the bbq sandwiches, it was excellent! Our group only tried the NC bbq style bbq and it was as good... More

Having lived in the Carolina's,Georgia, Tennessee and Alabama, I know barbecue. This here is some fine eatin. Starting with the basic slow cooked Boston Butt, Li'l Pigs moves on to Jerk Sauce and the most tender pork loin. Maybe it's the pleasant outdoor seating and occasional live music, but I just love this place. Despite walk in groups of 20... More

Husband saw sign on RT 81 South and took exit, before I had a chance to check TA. Surprised to find this great little restaurant! Very clean, excellent pulled pork sandwiches. We got the Carolina vinegar style, and added extra sauce. Wonderful! Stored this address in our GPS so we can get our BBQ fix when traveling north or south... More

We were looking for a place to stop while traveling from Pennsylvania to South Carolina off Rt. 81. We didn't want to stop at the usually chains and we didn't want to go too far off rt. 81. We had a great lunch. The food was good and the staff was nice. Yes, the onion stars were wonderful!

This was a great place we stopped at on our way down 81 toward NC. Thought we were going to Wendys until we saw this restaurant tucked in a strip mall behind it. Food was great, service even better. Would definitely go again if ever headed down that way. Daughter had the ribs which were better than the pulled pork.

We live nearby and have enjoyed the food here on several occasions. I like the vinegar based BBQ sandwich, and add any of the three sauces on the table; the cheeseburger is also a winner as are the onion straws, which come with a tangy dipping sauce. My wife often goes with the varying daily special, e.g. yesterday a French... More

Stopped here with the family after a long drive from DC. Good food and environment. Husband had the smoked wings and loved them. I had the pulled pork sandwich and it was great plus a Brunswick stew which was equally good. Kids loved the hush puppies!! Would definitely stop again. Nice atmosphere overall!

My boss and I had lunch here during a conference. What I received was a plate of cold, dry (as though it had been sitting out for many hours) pulled pork with out any hint of flavor ("vinegar chopped pork BBQ platter"), some uninspired broccoli and fries. Its sad when a BBQ place called 3 Lil Pigs cant make a... More

Had jerk pork sandwich with curly fries. Fries were good but how can you mess up fries unless they're cold. The sandwich was a total disappointment. There were 5 pork medallions about an inch and 1/4 round and a little more than 1/4" thick with a dab of what looked like their zesty BBQ sauce on a large bun. That... More
