Good Italian food

Went here on a recommendation. The restaurant is in a converted house, with smaller, more intimate rooms. Our server was very good, personable, and attentive. The food was also very good - stuffed mushrooms, lobster bisque and veal parmiggina. I would go again.

Best place in Culpeper hands down. Classy, well priced, and an excellent staff. Any meal here is a good choice. Celebrating anniversaries or family reunions are both a must!

After a long afternoon walking around Montpelier, we needed a good meal and WOW, did we find it! I have enjoyed several other dinners at Lucio's but this was beyond fantastic! A huge portion of Veal Parmesan and the most wonderful and light pasta ~ oh my! My in-laws raved about their dinners and my husband & son could not... More

Lucio’s Italian restaurant in Culpeper offers a pleasant atmosphere and delivers well-prepared Italian dishes. The staff’s quality service enhances the dining experience. The menu is the same at lunch and dinner, but adjusted for lunch portions. Daily specials including soups and entrees are offered as well as the regular menu selections. The menu is not extensive, but adequate for most... More

We have eaten there on a few occasions. They have a great couple of nights of pasta specials. The pasta is really fresh! The waiters and hostesses are very friendly and sociable. The only thing is they are not open all day long, so you might have to check their hours. But the meals are worth the wait!

Lucio used to be our favorite; beautiful location and the food was absolutely amazing. The food in the past two years or so is just not as good as evidenced by our most recent visit. In our party of four the cheese ravioli was very good, the fish was greasy, the soup was over salted (server took the full bowls... More

So we walking and sit down. There is an AC vent near the table with two loose plastic deflectors. Each table had a set of slat and pepper shakers. Is this Italian. Where is the olive oil and PR cheese? The wine selection is Culpeperess- limited. The martini from the bar was just wrong. Everyone that came in after us... More

Wonderful decor and courteous service. Delightful Italian menu at very reasonable costs. Located in a home setting you feel as if you are dining among your family. The portions are large so doggie bags are in order.

After traveling all day from Florida, I thought I would settle for a bite to eat at a fast food place. When I saw Lucio's I knew that is where I wanted to go. The building is beautiful on the inside and out. I was seated early and received respectful and appropriately timed service. The entire menu is quite affordable.... More

We were there Mother's Day for lunch. One of us had only the salads which were good. The other of us had the buffet, which was basically 1950's style white food, pork tenderloin, shrimp and white rice, and English peas with carrots in a white sauce. It is friendly but we would not give it a favorable review, food-wise. Without... More
