It's About Thyme, Thyme Market and Cooper Fish are all owned by the same owners. All of them are worth a visit though It's a about Time is my personal favorite. The food is consistently amazing. Many of the ingredients are purchased locally and the fresh taste comes through in the finished dishes. What stands out is the chef's talent... More

I have lived in Culpeper for over 10 years and my wife and I went to Thyme when we first moved in since it got all the rave reviews.. even back then my wife and I were unimpressed. So finally with family in town we broke down a few weeks ago and tried Thyme one more time, thinking we must... More

As a local I've been here many times. I've always been happy with dinner and we often come here for birthdays. Last visit I enjoyed absolutely delicious lamp chops. Yesterday for lunch I had shrimp gazpacho which was totally uninspired. It had large chunks of vegetables and dry, teeny shrimp, and a thin, acrid broth. The focaccia bread is superb... More

Outstanding cuisine, wine and service. We were so happy to have found this lovely place. The only negative, the portions were way too large. That worked fine for me but was too much for my wife. We will be back!

Wandering through Virginia and ran acoss this place at lunch time. The name caught our attention. Seated immediately in the spacious dining room. The menu provided a nice variety of choices. They take a team approach to servicing and they stay on top of your needs. Portion sizes at lunch time, anyway, are appropriate. You go away feeling satisfied, not... More

This tiny Culpepper, VA restaurant is part of the "Its about Thyme" B&B Inn. We thoroughly enjoyed the food. Small storefront atmosphere and laid back staff made our visit comfortable. Busy always means good good coming to me so I was impressed. Also a lot of locals were dining which is another good sign. If you are going o be... More

The restaurant is a little small and noisy but the food is generally good. Occasionally the wait staff is overcome by the number of people so service can be spotty.

Small well run restaurant and lounge. Very large seafood counter where you can see and select your dinner or buy as takeout. Really nice selection of wines for only $7 a glass. Impeccable service in a casual atmosphere. Enjoyed immensely!
