Wandering through Virginia and ran acoss this place at lunch time. The name caught our attention. Seated immediately in the spacious dining room. The menu provided a nice variety of choices. They take a team approach to servicing and they stay on top of your needs. Portion sizes at lunch time, anyway, are appropriate. You go away feeling satisfied, not... More

This tiny Culpepper, VA restaurant is part of the "Its about Thyme" B&B Inn. We thoroughly enjoyed the food. Small storefront atmosphere and laid back staff made our visit comfortable. Busy always means good good coming to me so I was impressed. Also a lot of locals were dining which is another good sign. If you are going o be... More

The restaurant is a little small and noisy but the food is generally good. Occasionally the wait staff is overcome by the number of people so service can be spotty.

Small well run restaurant and lounge. Very large seafood counter where you can see and select your dinner or buy as takeout. Really nice selection of wines for only $7 a glass. Impeccable service in a casual atmosphere. Enjoyed immensely!

For ten years, this has always been a lunch destination on the way to Washington, DC. We were warmly greater by the owner and promptly seated. As usual, the restaurant was full of happy, talkative patrons! Our waitstaff was attentive, and our lunches were served without delay. The daily puff pastry is always delicious with a nicely dressed, fresh garden... More

This place is always consistently good. The French influence and flair is delightfully strong. The menu is seasonally varied and the salads always my favorite. The suggested wines have never missed the mark. The service is prompt and efficient and friendly. The whole place is filled with marvelous , generous bouquets of fresh flowers grown in the owner's extensive gardens.... More

As the rain poured down outside, my friend and I were greeted warmly upon entering the restaurant. Our drink orders were taken quickly and the staff was very attentive and friendly. We had asked a couple who were leaving as we entered what they had for dinner. We took their suggestions and ordered filet and salmon. The food arrived promptly... More

We recently went to It's About Thyme and had no idea what to expect. It was wonderful! I had fillet mignon and it was the best I had ever tasted. It came with potatoes and broccoli which were wonderful as well. The service was outstanding. I took my leftovers home in a box and the waiter saw me putting the... More
