This place was reccomended by a regular local. I was surprised at the downtown of Culpeper. Very nice. I had the pot roast. It was tasty and filling. It was served with penne. The service here was top notch. I had 2 bourbons, the meal and dessert with espresso for around $60 including tip. Great meal. I recommend.

I loved this quaint place the moment I walked in. The special drink of the day was warm cider. It arrived in large wine glasses. Their bread was yummy as was the Caesar salad which was enough to share with 3 ladies. I ordered the chicken & dumplings, which were not your everyday chicken & dumplings! The noodles were home... My wife and I stopped in Culpeper. We had heard about this restaurant and wanted to give it a try. It was far better than we hoped for. Our welcome by the owner was warm, friendly and genuine. The service was quick and efficient. The warm bread, which they make themselves, was a great start. We both had steaks and... More

By far, this is one of, if not the best restaurants my wife & I have eaten at. It is her favorite. We went there last night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. First, the service here is a million times better than ANY other place. We were seated by the owner, and it felt like everyone came by our table.... More

This is a quaint restaurant in a small town. We were passing through and needed to find a place to eat lunch. The outside of this restaurant looked inviting. It was busy, too. The atmosphere was casual and homey. The staff was friendly. The food was excellent! It was as good as food we've eaten in Europe. It says it... More

This charming hot spot offers fresh European styled menu that gets updated and changes often. One of the in places to be seen the only problem might be the noise level which can be high when they are busy.

John and Connie know how to do it. Every time we are in Culpeper to visit our son at school, we stay with them at the Thyme Inn and make it a point to eat at It's About Thyme. We have never been disappointed with the service or the food. The portions are perfect and the flavor is worldly.

Went to this restaurant for lunch while on a "girls' day out." Excellent service and excellent food. Very friendly staff. The place is popular and we had to wait about 5-10 minutes. The food was excellent! I ordered the chicken minestrone soup, puff pastry filled with pastrami & swiss, and a house salad. It was all perfect - just the... More

Wait staff was knowledgeable and attentive without being intrusive. Food was superb, along with some great wines at reasonable prices. Would definitely dine here again.
