If you're ready for a new fine-dining experience, it's time to visit Foti's Restaurant in Culpeper, Virginia. The superb service, delicate flavors, and extraordinary wines rival those of the finest restaurants in the Washington, D.C., area. Indeed, owners Frank and Sue Maragos refined their talents at the world-famous Inn at Little Washington prior to opening Foti's in 2005. Yet the friendly atmosphere and small-town hospitality are uniquely Foti's, which is why the establishment bears Frank's childhood nickname. Foti's menu revolves around the finest local products, including grass-fed beef and lamb, handmade cheeses, and heirloom vegetables and herbs.

The Best Burger I Have EVER Tasted in 52 Years. Period.

I do not ever write reviews on restaurants. First Time. However, the Foti's burger was genuinely the best I have ever tasted in 52 years, and I am 52. EVERYBODY HAS TO TRY THIS. Foti’s Burger - Dipped in Worcestershire sauce, topped with roasted pork belly and Talleggio cheese, served on... read more

I picked this place for an early dinner on Wednesday on my way back from Charlottesville. The reason for doing so was that I had read somewhere that an ex-chef at the Inn at Little Washington was now managing the kitchen and restaurant. My expectations were obviously very high because from what I have read (never been there), "The Inn"... More

We went for lunch and was waited on by Tamberlyn, she was great! She did a great job of explaining the specials and helping us decide what to get. I ordered the Meatball Sandwich and my wife ordered the Salmon Wrap and both were fantastic! Great food and good prices.

My wife and I had lunch at Foti's today after spending a couple of hours touring the shops of Culpeper Virginia for the first time. The owner is originally from Switzerland and the place is immaculate and tastefully decorated. Our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. My wife had frog legs - something you seldom see on menus and she said they... More

From the reviews here I expected this to be awesome, but I was disappointed. My husband and I came here because he had seen it passing by and thought it looked interesting. We decided to try a few things and split them. We started with the roasted beet and goat cheese tower. The beets tasted like they were smoked, it... More

From a conservation and animal protection prospective, It is wrong to serve frog legs in restaurants, and I hope Foti's will consider removing them from the menu. State game departments, state fisheries and wildlife departments and conservation organizations are in general agreement about the myth of sustainably produced frog legs. To quote Louis Helfrish, Rihcar Neves and James Parkhurst, Extention... More

Best experience in Culpeper. Great staff! Our server (CHLOE) was a true delight. Our food was perfect! The chef took time to talk to us. Foti's is a must visit.

Word on the street is that the kitchen staff here comes from the Inn at Little Washington and the quality would seem to back that up. Unlike the Inn, it's a more casual atmosphere, roomy and isn't going to set you back a week's salary.

The staff at Foti's is incredibly friendly and accomodating. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. I have many dietary restrictions and never once did they make me feel like it was an inconvenience for them. On top of this, their food is excellent!

We had lunch last Sunday at a crowded FOTI'S. We did not have reservations and felt lucky that we were seated quickly. The atmosphere is buzzing in this electic Mediterrean restaurant. The menu is varied and interesting and we thoroughly enjoyed the Greek Nachos and the Roasted Beet Sandwich. we would have loved to eat here again on our trip... More
