Description: If you're ready for a new fine-dining experience, it's time to visit...
If you're ready for a new fine-dining experience, it's time to visit Foti's Restaurant in Culpeper, Virginia. The superb service, delicate flavors, and extraordinary wines rival those of the finest restaurants in the Washington, D.C., area. Indeed, owners Frank and Sue Maragos refined their talents at the world-famous Inn at Little Washington prior to opening Foti's in 2005. Yet the friendly atmosphere and small-town hospitality are uniquely Foti's, which is why the establishment bears Frank's childhood nickname. Foti's menu revolves around the finest local products, including grass-fed beef and lamb, handmade cheeses, and heirloom vegetables and herbs.

Best Gyro Ever!

Went there for lunch yesterday (5/30/2015). Soup was fantastic and Foti’s Gyro was the best ever. "Crispy seared seasoned ground lamb with tzatziki, lettuce, tomato and onions served in a fresh grilled pita." I can't wait to go back.

Too often restaurants are given five TripAdvisor stars when they are honestly worth just four; Foti’s is a true five. They have recently moved and there are changes. The only thing to be missed are the old wood floors. Today, the overall décor is better and more welcoming. The faux painting is too cool! Indeed, you may also reserve a... More

Foti's is perfect both for special occasions and impromptu visits. Their new location, decor and updated menu seem to only make the place even more perfect, if such a thing was even possible. Frank and Sue are very professional, helpful and pleasant to deal with, and their wait staff is always excellent at making you feel welcome. Being a vegetarian... More

We visited the new space for Foti's (just up the street form the former space), and were very happy with the cozy feel and the variety in the menu. As always (we have been to Foti's before), the food was excellent, interesting and beautifully presented. The service was friendly, knowledgable and attentive. While we usually reserve Foti's for special occassions,... More

Always attentive service and excellent food. Frank is ready to specialize your order if you have dietary needs or just prefer to mix things up a little. Have not yet tried his new restaurant as of May but plan to soon.

In relocating (about 2 blocks down the street) somehow Foti's improved on perfection. The dining room is cozier and the menu is improved. And, they've added tables in the kitchen where you can watch Frank and the team perform. And what a performance it is. Last night we had the lobster, johnny cakes and vanilla sauce, and beet salad for... More

Restaurant is now located at 110 Davis Street next to Pepperberries Hours are now 11-10 except Sunday Bright and cheerful. Excellent staff and was waited on promptly. I ordered the Gyro which had lamb with tzatziki (a cucumber yogurt sauce. I asked for definition) with lettuce tomato and onion served on grilled pita. Generous portions and you need to use... More

Went there for lunch and was very impressed. Food was very good and had a great price point. Our waitress and other staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and specials. Our food came out in a reasonable time, was fresh, and plated well. I had the gyro, a special for that day, and it was one of... More

My partner and I experienced Foti's a few years ago, and looked forward to coming back. Often it happens that a restaurant's first impression doesn't hold up - but not this time! The menu was different - less Italian and more Blue Ridge - but the treatment of local produce is out of this world, and the pork ribs (not... More

It is an elegant and quaint place with well presented food. The good had great flavor but portions very small and I feel the good and wine prices are very high for the area.
