Description: If you're ready for a new fine-dining experience, it's time to visit Foti's Restaurant in Culpeper, Virginia. The superb service, delicate flavors, and extraordinary wines rival those of the finest restaurants in the Washington, D.C., area. Indeed, owners Frank and Sue Maragos refined their talents at the world-famous Inn at Little Washington prior to opening Foti's in 2005. Yet the friendly atmosphere and small-town hospitality are uniquely Foti's, which is why the establishment bears Frank's childhood nickname. Foti's menu revolves around the finest local products, including grass-fed beef and lamb, handmade cheeses, and heirloom vegetables and herbs.

An excellent restaurant in Culpeper along the main drag. A perfect place to stop and have cold beer and some creative salads on a hot and muggy day. The service was excellent and the price was reasonable.

The staff is well trained and very friendly. We had just sat down when two servers appeared and were filling our water glasses. The food was unexpectedly good for such as small town location. All the food is farm to table and really fresh. Davis street is a great place to visit in the historic section of Culpeper.

We live in Culpeper and we love to go to Foti's. The owners are engaging and the food is always a treat. Many things on the menu (the winners) are always the same, but they certainly try new and interesting ones. And the volume of the dining is somewhat quiet and that's a good thing for those of us who... More

My friend and I had a lunch and a dinner during our 2 day stay in Culpeper. We shared a large salad for lunch, and both of us thoroughly enjoyed the Shrimp Byzantine for dinner the next evening. Service was prompt on both occasions. Grant, our waiter, was most gracious and friendly. I would highly recommend Foti's.

This was recommend to us by the owner of The Thyme Inn as his restaurants were closed for Memorial Day. We had a superb meal from start to finish….the owners used to be at the Inn at Little Washington and the menu reflected that level of sophistication.

We had eaten there about 5 years ago and raved about the food and service. Unfortunately the 2nd time was not the charm. Food was mediocre and service was slow. Guess they had a new chef since our last visit. Too bad!

We found this restaurant on a May outing to Culpepper to meet a friend and were all very pleased with the quality and preparation of our meals, in fact I wish they would establish a second location in Fred'burg. Great daily soup offerings, the tuna burger is perfectly seasoned, lamb pasta is splendid(get some bread) and the pineapple chicken salad... More

Great meal Saturday night at Foti's Restaurant. Wonderful appetizer special of sautéed mushrooms, mashed potatoes, and a soft egg. Delicious! Our entrees were beautifully presented and also tasty. Service was attentive but not intrusive. The owner was on hand and personable. She made an effort to move from table to table talking to all of the people as well as... More

I first heard about Foti's Restaurant in a Washington Post story about a growing "foodie" culture in Culpeper, Va. shortly after it opened in 2005. After dining there ("eating" there would be a too pedestrian way to say it) about a dozen times or more, I have to say, this is one of my all-time favorite restaurants. Perhaps you can... More

Great service and the owners are hands--on. Wonderful combinations of flavors and textures and nice presentation. Good portion sizes so you're not overly full. Bread pudding done like you've never had it before--scrumptious.
