If you're ready for a new fine-dining experience, it's time to visit Foti's Restaurant in Culpeper, Virginia. The superb service, delicate flavors, and extraordinary wines rival those of the finest restaurants in the Washington, D.C., area. Indeed, owners Frank and Sue Maragos refined their talents at the world-famous Inn at Little Washington prior to opening Foti's in 2005. Yet the friendly atmosphere and small-town hospitality are uniquely Foti's, which is why the establishment bears Frank's childhood nickname. Foti's menu revolves around the finest local products, including grass-fed beef and lamb, handmade cheeses, and heirloom vegetables and herbs.

Went there for lunch and was very impressed. Food was very good and had a great price point. Our waitress and other staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and specials. My partner and I experienced Foti's a few years ago, and looked forward to coming back. Often it happens that a restaurant's first impression doesn't hold up - but not this time! The menu was different - less Italian and more Blue Ridge - but the treatment of local produce is out of this world, and the pork ribs (not... More

It is an elegant and quaint place with well presented food. The good had great flavor but portions very small and I feel the good and wine prices are very high for the area.

It is great food; nice service, all for a very reasonable price. With salads, wine, steaks/potatoes and shared desert-around 100 dollars. We pigged out and loved it. I have paid far more for similar food. It is not cheap; but fantastic food. I will go back; not every day but when I want that special meal with a special person

If you like the trend with a focus on food towers, you'll love Foti's. We were there on Saturday night and the service was very slow even though they weren't crowded. We weren't in a hurry so ok. The mahi-mahi fish was excellent, but had too many flavors going on for my taste. It had a lightly cooked kale base,... More

My 9 yr old and I visited on a Saturday evening, we were seated in a corner and it seems forgotten by the waiter. I mentioned it was our first visit, hoping that would warrant a little enthusiasm..not! I had a an egg plant dish, which I didn't finish, and no one asked why, the female owner stopped at all... I had dinner at Foti's about a month ago. What a delight. Not only in the food but in the pricing. The food was sophisticated in preparation and presentation as one would expect. The service, again like the food, well executed and with a touch of panache. Our servers knew the menu and were attentive when necessary. Just as important,... More

Your meal is always above expectations. The atmosphere is formal and the service, although sometimes slow, is especially attentive. Go to Foti's for any special event: birthday, anniversary or a holiday. You will not be dissapointed.

I can't say enough about this restaurant where every time I've had lunch or dinner I've had a 5 star experience; but today I decided to write about it because I was blown away by the lamb soup and burger special. This fabulous meal was accompanied by their usual excellent service and great ambience. Definitely the best place to eat... More

A very innovative menu with lots of dishes to explore, including a fantastic vegetarian delight. My salmon was perfect. Also, the noise level in the restaurant was calm enough that we could hear each other speak, even though it was very busy.
