We've been traveling to Culpeper for the last three years to visit family and we eat out a lot so I've tried most of the restaurants in town. I can't disagree more with some of the negative reviews on this place. In my opinion this is one of the best places in town to eat. The portions are generous and... More

Not much good to say. Shrimp was rubbery. Calamari saturated in oil and no flavor. Fries way over seasoned and uber salty. And that was just the appetizers. Entrees were more of the same. The salmon was rediculously salty. The bouillabaisse was uninspired, with rubbery shrimp and under cooked scallops. The side of an gratin potatoes was not edible. The... More

We started with a dozen oysters ( a selection from PEI and CT) and they were so fresh and sweet. I had rockfish for my entree and my husband had another white fish; we were happily surprised at how nicely it turned out.

I enjoyed my Fish and Chips at this great place at Culpeper's center. Service was attentive and friendly, and assured I would not be lonely as a solo diner. The F&C were the best I've had on this side of the Atlantic. I know this is a bold claim, but it's true. Save room for great dessert offerings.

We stopped by again after visiting in the area and were not disappointed! I had concerns due to recent reviews but they were not accurate. We had the happy hour specials steamed oysters and shrimp. The shrimp were large and very tasty, the oysters were amazing! I found the food reasonably priced and very good. Not much has changed from... More

Family enjoyed a great lunch at The Copper Fish. The bouillabaisse was fantastic, cheeseburger and jerk chicken sandwich were really yummy as well. The shops along Davis street are very fun. We really enjoyed the afternoon with great food and some fun shopping.

We shared a plate of lovely oysters. She had fish tacos with pico de gallo and I the Rockfish in lobster sauce. Both were fresh and flavorful. The Rockfish was grilled to perfection. The outdoor seating was perfect. Felt European!

The service was excellent. I had the shrimp po boy. The shrimp was over cooked and the roll was stale.another person in our group had a pasta dish with over cooked seafood also. People had the crab cakes liked them. Very disappointing !!!!! For the price I really expected better quality of food!!!!

Stopped in for the happy hour specials. I ordered the peel and eat shrimp. I was glad to see that they use large shrimp for the special. It was a great deal especially when you get it half price. It is worth a stop if you have a taste for fish In Culpepper VA.
