We loved our lunch

We ate a late lunch mid-week and the place was not busy. We had excellent, attentive, professional service. All very well trained staff. We came in looking for pizza, but their lunch menu drew us in. The mixed garden salad was very good - ordered with blue cheese instead of vinegarette. The... read more

Beautiful sunny day, very cozy cafe-style eats in the outdoors cafe seating. It was easy to find, easy to get to, and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly.

Fun place to grab a few martinis or a glass of champagne at the bar on a Friday night, and then grab a table for a fresh seafood dinner. Choose one of the specials on the board or pick your fish from the refrigerated case, select a cooking style and sauce, and accessorize as desired! Every dinner I've had has... More

Davis Street in Culpeper has soooo much to offer! Connie and John (owners of this place and Thyme) are incredibly good at what they do. The Copper Fish has an outstanding selection and you won't go wrong with anything you choose to eat or drink.

We started off with a Blood Mary with incredible tiger shrimp! Excellent! I had a shrimp basket with large shrimp not quite as large as Tiger Shrimp but large. French fries were nicely seasoned I try not to eat fries but I couldn't stop. I come from a no salt home and I didn't find them salty. My husband had a... More

We've been traveling to Culpeper for the last three years to visit family and we eat out a lot so I've tried most of the restaurants in town. I can't disagree more with some of the negative reviews on this place. In my opinion this is one of the best places in town to eat. The portions are generous and... More

Not much good to say. Shrimp was rubbery. Calamari saturated in oil and no flavor. Fries way over seasoned and uber salty. And that was just the appetizers. Entrees were more of the same. The salmon was rediculously salty. The bouillabaisse was uninspired, with rubbery shrimp and under cooked scallops. The side of an gratin potatoes was not edible. The... More

We started with a dozen oysters ( a selection from PEI and CT) and they were so fresh and sweet. I had rockfish for my entree and my husband had another white fish; we were happily surprised at how nicely it turned out.

I enjoyed my Fish and Chips at this great place at Culpeper's center. Service was attentive and friendly, and assured I would not be lonely as a solo diner. The F&C were the best I've had on this side of the Atlantic. I know this is a bold claim, but it's true. Save room for great dessert offerings.

We stopped by again after visiting in the area and were not disappointed! I had concerns due to recent reviews but they were not accurate. We had the happy hour specials steamed oysters and shrimp. The shrimp were large and very tasty, the oysters were amazing! I found the food reasonably priced and very good. Not much has changed from... More
