2.5 rounds up to 3, which is why I rate The Copper Fish as average rather than poor. The food is okay, but just okay. My sandwich started out as a good concept (on the paper menu), but was poorly constructed--not edible as a sandwich--and skimpy on ingredients other than the overdone lettuce that made everything else bulge out of... Family enjoyed a great lunch at The Copper Fish. The bouillabaisse was fantastic, cheeseburger and jerk chicken sandwich were really yummy as well. The shops along Davis street are very fun. We really enjoyed the afternoon with great food and some fun shopping.

We shared a plate of lovely oysters. She had fish tacos with pico de gallo and I the Rockfish in lobster sauce. Both were fresh and flavorful. The Rockfish was grilled to perfection. The outdoor seating was perfect. Felt European!

The service was excellent. I had the shrimp po boy. The shrimp was over cooked and the roll was stale.another person in our group had a pasta dish with over cooked seafood also. People had the crab cakes liked them. Very disappointing !!!!! For the price I really expected better quality of food!!!!

Stopped in for the happy hour specials. I ordered the peel and eat shrimp. I was glad to see that they use large shrimp for the special. It was a great deal especially when you get it half price. It is worth a stop if you have a taste for fish In Culpepper VA.

We had a very nice time at this restaurant. The food was excellent and there was a large menu selection. It was very busy and seemed to be a popular place for Saturday night. The only down side was we were invited by the hostess to wait in the bar, but had trouble getting the bar tender's attention to serve... More

We have found the best oysters in Culpeper are at the Oyster Happy Hour on M-F at the Copper Fish. They have a great happy hour with specials on draft beer, wine and rail drinks. What get's us in are the fresh oysters and jumbo shrimp, all served 1/2 price. The bar starts to get crowded after 5PM, so try... More

This row of restaurants all owned by same person - so having had excellent experience at Its About Thyme we thought we would try Copper Fish. Maybe I picked a bad day - Saturday lunchtime, but we had to wait to be seated and it wasn't that busy. The man behind the counter seemed utterly indifferent to everyone. He needs... More
