We spent an enjoyable evening in Da Luca, and it came as a surprise. The location is just not where you expect to find a sophisticated bar and excellent tapas menu. The restaurant is in a very new suburban housing development, which itself is incongruously stranded a bit outside the little historical cluster of buildings in Crozet VA, on the... More

We've eaten here about 6 times over the past couple years, and are never disappointed. Their food is really very good. Loved their procuttio burger the other day. Food is a little unique and great. One of our favorite places to go, either early w the kids, or later as a couple.

Wow! What a lovely surprise to find such fresh food prepared so well in this hidden neighborhood. We will be back! Our server knew the tapas so well, the chef was friendly with great cooking skills,

We've dinned here multiple times over the past 6 months and have enjoyed each evening. A small, bit out of the way, tapas-style restaurant in a new residential development. Ample parking. I am surprised that it isn't more crowded but it is not a "drive by" location. The food has been consistently excellent and very appealingly presented. The portions are... More

Had Sun brunch there for 9 people. The staff was very friendly. The food was fantastic (especially the No BUll Burger and the French Toast). They had a good selection of wine and bubbly. I thought the bill was incredibly reasonable for a large party and the quality of food.

We sat at the bar, enjoyed some wonderful wine, good food and great conversation with the very personable owner, from Naples. We particularly liked that they use fresh and healthy ingredients and support local producers (locally baked bread, Afton-farmed produce, Charlottesville hand-made pasta). Local business that supports local business. Love it. We enjoyed.. - Stuffed Piquillo pepper stuffed with Goat... More

Just moved to Olld Trail and fell in love with our new Italian bistro, da Luca Café. I am on a strict diet and they were so accommodating. Our server, Jess was warm and so knowledgeable regarding the wines, beverages and food. We were a party of four and we all loved our meals. It was restaurant week and we... More

Our several meals, over a number of months, have ranged from pretty good to awful, with most pretty average. The most recent was downright crummy, from top to bottom, from a fussy unmanageable salad to fern bar-style risotto balls to a crabcake that was not nearly as good as one I got an ordinary diner a couple of weeks later,... We chose the Sangria over wine. It was excellent! We went late and the restaurant was half full. We were seated immediately We were fortunate to have a very knowledgable waitress who helped guide us through our choices. First out was the shrimp ceviche It was just fabulous This was followed by the spiced Moroccan tuna and roasted Brussel sprouts.... More
