My husband and I went here for a late lunch. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The waitress/cashier/seemingly the only staff there was sweet and even made some recommendations of what to get. When she brought our appetizer she even included a couple of extra things she wanted us to try. The food was very good. The atmosphere was... More

I suggest the beef wrapped in lettuce and rice. I was stationed in South Korea for two years. Food here is just like I ate it in Korea. Nice employees and great with the kids

When I first went to Koreana, it was located in the Walnut Mall in Petersburg VA in the 70's.... my mom, who never ate out loved the food. I have never had a bad meal here - the lunch buffet is full of great staples of the menu that have not changed since day one. From the chap chae and... More

Charming little place that has Korean, Chinese, and Japanese food on offer. The waitress/owner is wonderful and made the night out worth it. Food was tasty, not the best Korean food I've had, but worth a second trip.

About 7 of us came for dinner, the waitress (I assumed the owner as well) recommended bulgogi. Some of us ordered some fried mandu. The waitress came back with a big bowl of soup and a bunch of fried mandu for all of us. The bulgogi was cooked on the grill at the table and it tasted all right. The... More

I recently moved to Colonial Heights and I was excited to try this Korean restaurant. It was #1 on TripAdvisor, so we decided to give it a try. I lived in Korea for a few years and I absolutely love Korean food, so I was hoping to find a restaurant to visit often while living in this area. Unfortunately, my... More

Ate here three times during the two weeks I was here for school. The staff are generous, caring, and attentive. The food came hot and quick, was delicious, and the buffet ad grat selections also. My fav is be bebop, pardon my selling, and hot tea. Yummy!

My husband and I go to Richmond VA hospital quite often, and we always make sure to stop in Colonial Heights either on the way to or from and dine at Koreana. Their food is amazing, and the woman who owns the restaurant is so sweet and helpful with ordering. My husband was stationed in S Korea during his time... More

We were on a road trip from PA to Florida and decided to eat only at local mom and pop joints on the way down. Koreana fit the bill. The owner was a gracious host and helped explain many if the items on the lunch buffet that were not labelled. The buffet had a hot section and a cold section... More
