Description: http://www.dennys.com/#/location - Also on Yelp: http://www.yelp.com/biz/dennys-colonial-heights This Denny's is located in a 50's diner type building, inside and out! I've never seen a Denny's with this decor :) We loved it and it's just off an exit of I95. Will definitely stop again while traveling! Please put this restaurant on here, people will love it.

I'm from California and this chain is very prevalent there. The service was good, the food was not cooked as well as I'm used to seeing it. I thought the coffee could have been stronger but it is great for a quick bite before work.

Ate breakfast here and nothing we ordered came out correct. The only reason for the 3 stars was the manager resolved the issue without problems. Waitress charged for every extra (I guess thinking she was getting a bigger tip) but that only makes me subtract off the tip. Just a typical average dennys.

Could not get service! First no one took our order. Then no water. Next, stale coffee, and no sugar. Our order came, no ketchup. I asked for fresh coffee, and then had to ask for the manager. The place is a hangout for the staff. They're interested in themselves, not the customers.

This has got to be the loudest Denny's, or any restaurant, for that matter that I have ever been in. I couldn't hear my companions over the din. It's extremely crowded, the tables are packed together, grungy looking, and LOUD. The waitress was good. The food was good. But I will avoid this restaurant with everything in my power. We... More

Waitress nice but restaraunt was grungy looking, had a smell to it and the food portion was not appealing when brought tot eh tabel it was salad with wilted lettuce and mushed avacado portion and galric bread toasted too much.

It not the best place but I enjoy going to eat when I have the time. The restaurant look like it beat up from the inside and the manager was on the phone I was trying to order something. I guess his call to his girlfriend or wife was more important than me. The was ok as well not star... More

This Denny's looks a lot more like a classic stainless steel New Jersey Dinner than any cookie cutter chain family restaurants. A traditional older dinner waitress was professional, efficient and earned a great tip. Service was prompted, the home made hash was first rate and I was impressed. When the manager rang me up he checked on how I found... More

While in the Colonial Heights area we stopped by Denny's for a late morning breakfast. We decided on the $2 meal from the $2-4-6-8 value meal list and we were very pleased. I had the biscuits and gravy and my wife had pancakes, we both got hash browns. We were both impressed with the great taste and fairly large servings.... More

I typically enjoy coming here. The food is always good and the proportions are pretty big. Service is nice and friendly. I don't recommend going late on the weekends because of the large crowds of teenagers, but other than that it's a good spot for families.
