The sea star has long been a favorite spot for my wife and I. They have a great selection of wraps and sandwiches that are fresh and healthy. Try them and you are sure to keep going back.

awesome real food, fresh ingredients, good for both meat eaters and vegetarians, we always stop at the Sea Star when we are visiting Chincoteague. They have moved to a new location on Maddox Blvd.

I had the Zorba Pita and the Brazilian Black Bean Soup. After 2 days of rich seafood, a little vegetarian food seemed like it would do me good. The Brazilian Black Bean Soup was rich and complex, simply full of flavor. The Zorba is just delicious with feta cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers and just drenched in a great vinaigrette dressing. I... Hmm, eating my big, delicious, creative sandwich on the shore of a pond is a simple pleasure. All the sandwiches are unique plus you can create your own. I have not eaten a wrap or salad yet, but hear that is ALL GREAT.

Luckily their sandwiches and teas are worth looking for their new location! Now they are on the north side of Maddox Blvd which is the road that goes from the new bridge to the beach, so it will be a great place to stop to grab your beach picnic if you don't want to do any beach grilling which we... We arrived on Chincoteague on a Monday and, curious to see the new location, headed straight for our favorite sandwich / soup spot on the island. We pulled into the deserted parking lot and it was plain to see that the noticeably larger building was closed up tight..."Noooo!" My niece and I ran up to the door and found a... More

The guy at the Refuge Motor Inn suggested this place. IT WAS DELICIOUS. My husband ordered a shrimp salad croissant and I got a chicken salad sandwich. The shrimp salad was amazing, mostly shrimp with a little other stuff mixed inn but mostly shrimp. Chicken salad was delicious. IT was large chunks of chicken with garlic and red peppers and... More

The Sea Star has moved from its location next to the waterfront park in downtown Chincoteague to a set-back, larger place with more parking on Maddox Boulevard, on the way out to the beach on Assateague Island. Hungry patrons new and old will be pleased to discover that nothing has changed with the quality of their delicious fare or the... More

Food here is great! You can't go to beach for the day without getting a sandwich from Sea Star. Worth the wait. Chicken salad is the best! Have the flavored tea of the day - so good!!
