Went to Mr. Baldy's, disappointed. Food OK, drinks were expensive, and the service was ok. We got a hamburger that was cooked to our liking, it was OK but not what I expected. The kids meals were alright alittle skimpy on the fries but otherwise ok and the drinks were priced high.

This place is inexpensive and the staff is always friendly. There is also usually not as long a wait and as other restaurants. I love the creamy crab soup. My younger brother loves the spaghetti and the mini corndogs. They have a lot of kid friendly choices that are not just chicken nuggets.

Mr. Baldy's has its own charm. We ate breakfast here twice on our trip. Standard breakfast food. Reasonable prices. Restaurant split into two sides. One section has Beatles pics on the wall. The other room has a sea mural including an octopus and the yellow submarine. Enjoyed the large servings of iced tea. Sweet or unsweet. Omlets, home fries and... More

We ate here for breakfast on our vacation. The four of us ordered a variety of menu items and all were good and fresh. The waitress was very attentive and we never had to wait for coffee refills. It is not a fancy place but has an established reputation and opened in 1959 as a drive in and has had... More

After you try all those expensive breakfasts downtown, try Mr Baldy's. The chipped beef is very good as well as the omelets. Have been here several times and never been disappointed.

If you are torn between breakfast places, choose Mr. Baldy's! Greeting was warm, service was excellent and the food was very good. Coffee was hot and I never had to wait for a refill. We complimented our waitress on the great service and asked her name for the review - she just laughed and said, "say the short one -... More

From two visits just for breakfast, and being only place around, just average rating. Very basic menu. I had French toast, eggs, bacon and home fries one day and blueberry pancakes the next. First visit was good, second ok. Wait staff played more with someone's child than checked tables on the second, began to feel like I was in a... More

We paid to park here for the pony swim. It's a perfect location for that, afterwards we came back for a great lunch. Friendly atmosphere and good food!

Mr. Baldy's is a good place to go if you are hungry. It is similar in offerings to Mr. Pauls Kitchen and the Chincoteague Diner, but Mr. Pauls isn't open for dinner and the Chincoteague Diner should be avoided at all costs! Mr. Baldy's had a good selection of food and reasonable prices. The restaurant itself is in an obscure... More
