Always eat here with my grandparents in law when we visit. Awesome food and friendly service. Can't ask for anything better.

My husband, daughter and I went for dinner. The waitress was very friendly, and the food was ok. The atmosphere was terrible. It is a hole in the wall type place. everything is in need of updating. One of the cooks came out and sat down at one of the tables, looked at us, and went back into the kitchen.... More

Service was excellent and the meal was simple but was very good. I had a veggie omelet and hot oatmeal. I love the decor of the restaurant. It has the down-home feel to it. This is a place where locals eat.

This place is nothing fancy but we went there for breakfast one morning during our vacation and ended up coming back twice more. It had good, down-home food, a decent selection and good prices. My son loved their pancakes. Nothing too unusual on the menu, but simple items well done. Nuff said!

It had a lot to choose from, reasonable prices, and was really close to our resort! The staff was pretty friendly, and the fried chicken is worth the wait!

It's not a fancy place, but really nice little spot to go with your family. Really liked the Beatle's yellow submarine theme and decor! The food was nice, basic comfort food and most of the entrees were very reasonably priced. The cornbread was excellent! We had dinner there one night, then went back for breakfast a few days later.

Stopped here late one evening while exploring the last part of the island we hadn't visited. The food, while not the most sophisticated, was adequate for a late family meal. The staff was friendly and the service was prompt. The interior isn't the fanciest, but that may be part of the charm. My impression of this place it that it... More

I generally do not prefer to eat in a cinder-block building at a composite folding table, but the friendly service and pleasant pricing make up for the lack of ambiance. I've had 4 meals here in the last 2 months. With the exception of my most recent meal, the food has been very good. Breakfast is a winner every time... More

Breakfast was good. Nice local dinner. Good service, good food. Right down the street from Tom's Cove Park. Met an 88 year old women who was born on the day of the 1st ever pony penning. Local's are very friendly...

Mr. Baldy's is off the beaten path on Chincoteague Island an area of Virginia that is off the beaten path. It is perfectly situated, however, if you want to watch the Pony Penning that occurs every July. The Chincoteague ponies were to swim back to Assateague Island at 8:00 AM. We arrived for breakfast at 7:00 AM. At the time... More
