The sandwiches were delicious, but the fries were very overcooked, dark brown, and crunchy. $30 for 2 sandwiches, a small fries, and one drink!!!

The food is delicious. My boyfriend and I went here 3 out of the 6 days we were on the island. The ribs are the best I've ever had. The shrimp po'boy was so good and the fried chicken is better than anything you would ever get at a fast food place. We never waited more than 15 min. for... More

Revisited Woody's Beach BBQ in Chincoteague twice this week with my daughter. Woody's remains a fun place to eat and chill out, with comfortable hammocks and Adirondack chairs, whimsical decorations, and islandy (think Buffett and Marley) music playing! Add to that fun outdoor games like the ring game and a large tic tac toe board, and you get the picture.... More

We always hit up Woody's at least once on our vacation, and this time didn't disappoint. The kids love their chicken chunks and the side games. I love their pulled pork sandwiches. Mac and cheese a bit much for younger tastes and will get pricey ($45 for lunch for 2 adults and 2 kids).

Woody's is great. Excellent bbq ribs and excellent pulled pork- our 3 year old son loved it! Good cole slaw and the corn bread could be dessert. If you get there early during the week your wait is 5-10 minutes. During prime time on the weekends, you could be waiting 1/2 hour. But, there are lots of outdoor games to... More

I am a long supporter of Woody's. Throughout the winter and build up to summer, my family craves Woody's chicken chunks and barbecue. I personally love the Duke and Woody's Special. However, over the years the wait times have increased. This year we visited Woody's twice, and had wait times of 55 minutes and 52 minutes- AFTER we placed our... More

Funky setting, fun seating arrangements, all outside. The barbecue was pretty good, a lot of food! It was a little difficult eating on low tables and Adirondack chairs with plastic utensils.

I hate to be the bearer of this news, but a visit to Chincoteague means scores of mosquito bites-- so be prepared for an attack while waiting for your order here if you are coming for dinner. But, it is worth it if you order the fish tacos-- an order of 2 for $11.99 is well worth it. The ambiance... More

This restaurant looks like a combination junkyard from the 30s and one from the 50s with old items from those periods, but the food is GREAT. You can carryout or eat on big wooden tables outside. We had ribs, pulled pork and chicken for the three of us. with sides of baked beans, coleslaw and corn bread. It was classic... More

I really like this place the food was really good they have a great selection I love the feel of the restaurant the staff was really nice. They have games to play while you are eating. And neat seating areas. The only thing is that it's outside and there are seagulls.
