I eat ice cream every where I go, and this was delicious and a good value! The mint chip was excellent, and the kids loved the "pony tracks." Huge scoops!

plenty of flavors to choose from. most of them very tasty... some (run and raisin, cherry jubilee...) were over the top. portions are enormous - 2 scoops make about a pint!

We showed up after a great dinner next door at Steamers and were amazed to see a line snaking out the front door and into parking lot. Yes! The ice cream is that good.

I stopped here on travel with a friend because this was a highly rated place that made their own ice cream. They did not dissapoint. The ice cream was wonderful! It was quite busy on a chilly and rainy day. I am sure that they are crazy busy in full season.

A must to visit. enjoy a meal at the local diner and save room for dessert. wish they had one in upper new York. maybe not us girls need to watch the waistline.

No matter the time of day, the kids wanted to go to the Island Creamery. The homemade ice cream is fantastic and there is a flavor for all tastes. They offer ice cream concoctions but the tried and true cones were the best.
