We were at Etta's for a special event. The whole restaurant had been booked, and Etta's did the catering. The venue was comfortable, the food was good, and the setting (on the channel between Chincoteague and Assateauge Islands) was lovely. We have not eaten at Etta's any other time, but we will give it a try for dinner the next... More

The wife and I were in the mood for seafood so we went here at the suggestion of the hotel clerk. This was a Friday so she said we should make reservations. We did for 630 and arrived early at 6. No problems as there was no crowd. We had a great view of the water. We ordered the Fried... More

Found this through a friend. After striking out on places to have a quiet sit down dinner, this was a good find. Atmosphere and clientele reminds me a little of a retirement home but food was good and view is nice. Nice spirit selections, we had both cocktails and beer with our dinner. My only real criticism was that they... More

We discovered Etta's earlier in the day while we were exploring the island. It's tucked away on East Side Drive on the channel, hence the name. We went back for dinner, with a 5:30 reservation. We wanted to eat during the daylight hours. The hostess seated us in what she said was the best seat in the house - and... More

Don't get me wrong, the sea food was good just like the other seafood restaurants but just like the other restaurants they were all prepared the same way with little deviation or imagination. We enjoyed the meal but we were looking for something a little different. Friendly service, very nice view and away from the downtown area but still very... More

Etta's was recommended by Refuge Inn. We loved eating waterside. The food was good and so was the service. Good wine and beer selection. Just a nice, homey place.

Took our granddaughter here for dinner. The food was good with the exception of over cooked tuna steak which they took back and replaced immediately. Highly recommend this place. Views are great

My wife and I have dined at Etta's several times over the past 3 years. We don't get to Chincoteague as often as we would like, but when we do we always look forward to the experience of Etta's. We both enjoy steamed clams as an appetizer and Etta's doesn't disappoint.... fresh, sweet, and grit-free. The fish dishes are all... More

Etta's is the classiest restaurant on Chincoteague Island! It overlooks the Assateague Channel (the south east side of the island). From the many window tables available you can view the Assageague lighthouse, and the boat traffic. They have humming bird feeders and potted flowers you can also view just outside the windows. The seafood entrees are always delicious (the only... More

My travel group recently visited Chincoteague and we had a great dining experience at Etta's. We had dinner reservations for a group of 22 and our group was seated in the enclosed porch area which had a fantastic view of the channel. The food was delicious and the service excellent! The crab imperial was yummy. It was a great way... More
