The last several years we had to include a trip to Etta's during our vacation week on the island. We asked to be seated indoors last year because of the extreme heat and we had a very nice view from our window, but we love the outdoor patio. We've been there for the entertainment and also for just a quiet... More

Tasty meal in a very nice setting over looking the channel to Assateague. Sea food dishes were well prepared

Overall, pretty place, nice view. Overcrowded, overpriced, terrible service with just okay food! Read on for the details. Saturday evening, our reservations were for 6:45. We were seated immediately. The restaurant is pretty and there is a good view of the Assateague Channel. The service sucked. They could not put another table in the room where we were. I was... More

Our family has been going to Chincoteague Island on vacation for over 15 years. On one of our first visits, while trying different seafood restaurants, we were happy to find Etta's restaurant. Over the years we always look forward to dining at Etta's. One of the best features of this restaurant are the delicious hush puppies and fresh bake rolls... More

Nice Restaurant. Good seafood. I ordered the seafood platter. I really struggled to eat all the food. large portions. We sat on the enclosed patio which had lovely views of the bay. We had a guitarist playing and singing while we ate. It was very relaxing enviroment. Our service was very good. Get there early for dinner, they were getting... More

First off our waitress was a hoot! She was a total riot almost like we got a table side show. Second, the view is the best we saw at a restaurant on the island. Really beautiful. The staff from the guy who greeted us at the door to our waitress were super friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed the food as... More

Had high hopes for such a great location. Nice view and linen napkins are what your paying for. Daughters fish sticks could have been a box of Mrs. Paul's. Salad made with ice berg lettuce and minimal chicken. Not enough pasta to go with chicken dish. Too small of portions for the prices. Never once did my drink get filled,... More

Tried Etta's for the first time over the weekend with some friends. We were two couples and two infants. We ate on the porch, which was nice. Calamari appetizer is expensive and you only get 6 or 7 pieces. Not to mention- it's nasty. The hushpuppies they give you for the table are the best I've had in a while.... More

I made a reservation to eat at Etta's, as it was highly recommended. When my family and I entered, the decor was charming, so we thought it would live up to the expectations. Boy, were we wrong! We checked in at the hostess' station and were greeted by Norma. She was not friendly during our initial encounter, but it would... More

Booked reservation based on 3rd party recommendation. Atmosphere was nice inside and out. I ordered a seafood platter and it was so disappointing. The fish was undercooked and the oysters, scallops and crab cake were so overcooked that the flavors were completely hidden. The crab stuffed flounder ordered by another was so bland in flavor and the serving of crab... More
